So I was checking my account to see when my next bill is due. I bought this when it first came out back in May or June, and the price and shipping were what you see here – every 2 months for $49.99. The box itself came in September, and the billing, which should have come out in July was now set for October 15th. Okay, so they had some issues getting their first box out and thankfully didn’t charge their customers until after they have had a chance to use the items in the box. I did get the box, which didn’t have all that much beauty for a subscription with beauty in the name, but it was still cool for the price.

I checked again for my billing info since I was doing my October budget. While my account itself still has the original info, the home page now says $99 for this box, delivered every 3 months. So now it’s only 4 boxes a year instead of 6, and the price per box is doubled. I emailed them since I found this confusing and they confirmed that they had just decided to make these changes. Not only is doubling the price and cutting the delivery, well, disappointing, but none of the changes I’ve mentioned here, for either the first box or the second, were communicated to customers who were already signed up. So I had to stay on top of checking and keep emailing when things got confusing.

I ended up cancelling. For $49 I would keep this random assortment of cool things, but I don’t trust that this company knows what they’re doing if they keep changing the schedule and the cost and don’t quickly communicate this to customers. Doubling the price without telling me is a huge red flag, imo.

That is weird. I see it is $99 for new subscribers now on their website too. I checked my account and it says I’m on a bimonthly plan for $49.99 and the next charge after now will be December and then February, so still every 2 months. Maybe current subscribers don’t get the new plan and that’s why they haven’t notified us? I would definitely not pay $99 for this, even though I enjoyed it for $49. I guess I’ll see how much I get charged on the 15th…

This box looks so good. I am strongly considering dropping FFF and picking up this box.
