The code isn’t working for me…🙁

I didn’t work for me either. I think you had to be a prior subscriber. I bought it and of course now i’m getting all kind of offers! LOL

JuJu

The blogger did include all the names of the products in English.

Monica

Does somebody know when they will charge for pre sale orders?

Reply ButtonReply

Tinisha

I emailed them and they said you are charged at dispatch, October 10.

Reply ButtonReply

Monica

Ok thank you so much!

chris

I just ordered this little beauty. It appears to be something you can reuse because the products are in drawers and they say you can set it up on your vanity. Oh, I am so EXCITED! I never had 1 of these, and I LOVE Alice in Wonderland.

Reply ButtonReply

chris

Totally cute! Love alice in wonderland- Ok- I didn’t even know about beauty advent calenders!!! Let alone high end ones! See how much I learn on this site?! LOL- Gotta say I love the idea seems totally cool. I’m supposed to be being good, too! Do these usually sell out, or do I have time?

Lola

I missed the LF Advent Calendar last year but got the L’occitane Advent instead. Not bad and it kept me in hand cream all year. Love their hand creme.

If you are interested in a Halloween Advent Calendar NOTORIOUSLY MORBID dot Com has one available in the next day or two. Two sizes, the small with 2 full size and 11 mini products for $50 and a large with 13 full size items for $75. Items are the same in both calendars just different sizes. New products being introduced with some holiday specific items. Entitled Monster Mash, the ghouls all here is based off Scooby-Doo Halloween theme.

JessicaG

I LOVE my Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet sub! Every time I need to drop a sub or two, the VC never even gets near the drop list! The shadows and lippies are amazing! If you have not tried their stuff, this Advent looks like a great place to start! Highly recommend 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

Yeah, this one is never on my drop list either though I have a huge collection of singke, mainly loose shadow pigments. Over 250 of them. But those colors are so good. Especially if you like the darker makeup ups. Or Beautiful Darkness ” as they call it. While not good on the advent calendar or subs you can try the code beautifuldarkness to get 20% off your first purchase.

Jodie

I just bought that! Looks super cute!

Thanks Lola!

vanessa

Like the idea of a Halloween Advent Calendar!! thanks, Lola.

I’m on the US site and the code didn’t work for me. I’ve never ordered from them before so I looked up promo codes and the code firstorder didn’t work either! Does anyone else have a suggestion for one to try? I just signed up for their emails so maybe they will issue me a code soon?

Reply ButtonReply

Jodie

I didn’t have any issue… worked fine

Reply ButtonReply

Kathryn

Sigh…discount code doesn’t work and postage is AU$24!! Better leave it for now and see what other seasonal offerings come up. Got the Body Shop calendar last year, that was great.

Reply ButtonReply

Barb

The code works and there is no shipping on the US Lookfantastic site. Are you trying to ship to Australia? If you are trying to ship tothe US, I think you ate in the wrong site.

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

There codes tend to be specific to certain people and not available to all. I haven’t placed an order other than my sub for a while so I am getting a code every other day but it is specific to me. That is why sometimes they don’t work for others. The comeback code especially is to tempt one to purchase off the site again. They also tend to not work for sub boxes and gift boxes which the advent calendar may be considered.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Last year Skinstore also sold the Lookfantastic calendar, and I believe they had discounts (20% I think) too! Maybe just give it a month or two for it to pop up on their site. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

Fyi: Skin Store is part of The Hut Group.

Connie

Thanks to Karen G and Luna last year I got both Jo Malone and Dyptique. I always look forward to reading Luna and Karen’s comments as we have similar tastes and I appreciate their input.

Reply ButtonReply

KarenG

Which ones did you like the best? I’m definitely getting Diptyque again this year and will hold out for the Jo Malone. Can’t wait to see what everyone ends up with!

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

KarenG get ready to be floored, but I think I’m only going to be sticking to the Lookfantastic this year! 😮 Shocker, I know! I’m still going to get the men’s ASOS calendar, but am holding out for a discount (unless a better men’s calendar comes along… an Art of Shaving one would be cool!). I’m going to try really hard to be “good” this year, and put that money I’d spend on other calendars toward any Barney’s beauty boxes that come out this year. Even without knowing what’s in them, I know I already want them! haha. Now all of this could just be the fact that I partook in all of the high-end GWP offers that came out last week (yay!), so I’m feeling a little “spent” (in more ways than one) at the moment. Maybe once a couple of weeks have passed I’ll be singing a different tune. 🙂

Luna

Yay!!! So, are you going to get those calendars again this year too?!? Silly me… I should already know. haha 😀 Are you going to splurge on any of those high-end U.K. calendars this year?

Reply ButtonReply

Jenny

I got this last year and loved it. Word is they doubled their inventory this year so sounds like it won’t sell out that fast for those waffling over purchasing it.

Reply ButtonReply

vanessa

I need spoilers first before I make the commitment.

No preview, no purchase. That’s my policy.

Reply ButtonReply

Svetlana7e

Wouldn’t it defeat the purpose of the calendar where every day is a surprise?

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

At this kind of price I really don’t want to be surprised. 🙂
If it was something like $25 – then sure, why not.

Luna

I think a lot of people like to see what will be in the calendar first before purchasing to see if it’s worth it to them. (I purchased it blind, but I have confidence in LF that it’ll be good 🙂 ) The real surprise is not knowing what door the product is behind. Also, since there’s quite a bit of time between when these boxes are shipped to when December comes around I’m sure a lot of people are like me, and forget what’s in them (but, knowing it’s all good stuff which is why we purchased it), so it’s a double surprise! But, there are also a lot of people that rip the whole box open right when they get it too! 😀

Melissa W.

I’m not biting the bullet yet. After looking at last years, it seems as though a good handful of the items were given in the monthly subscription box…especially that eye shadow palette that I can’t stand to look at anymore. The other items that wern’t given in the monthly sub, I got them from the BeautifiedYou bags that I buy every month and other sub boxes. I need spoilers first, at least some. If I miss it, I miss it.. not worried.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I just recently purchased some of those Beautified You bags (one for each skin type, plus the larger bag), and for $30 (tax-free/no shipping costs) not bad! I got them last year too, but taking into consideration my stash & how many samples those bags have I limit myself to one per year. I just had to see what I’d get this year. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa W.

I feel I have to buy a few every month because they always have new items in them every time, except for some of foil samples that may be repeats. Last time I ordered the deluxe sample bag, I got a full sized glo-therapeutics 15% vitamin C, snap-8, Papilactyl-D serum! Can’t beat the price. I love when they throw in the full sized skin care and for just $15.. I’m in skin care heaven!

Lauren

Ugh last year I watched a million advent calendar videos and wanted this one so bad but I don’t think they shipped to the US. The box alone is to die for I hope I love some of the products cause $97 is still a pretty big chunk to put on a mystery. I think I’ll try to be good and not watch any spoilers and actually open them one at a time that should be a really fun christmas treat. I think if at least 3 of the full sized or a couple full and a few deluxe are something awesome that I love it will be worth it.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa W.

It’s 9 full sized and 16 deluxe sample sized products that are included in this one.

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

Just ordered my first one!
Payment isn’t taken til point of dispatch 😃

Reply ButtonReply

Kristina

Just ordered one with the COMEBACK code. Was sad I missed out last year.

Reply ButtonReply

Bethany

Last year’s was amazing and I’m betting this year’s will be too! With the discount, I just couldn’t resist. Thank you SOOOO much for posting the coupon code 😀 25 items for $97.75 equals to $3.91 each. Considering 9 are full size and the rest are deluxe, I think it’s a great deal!

Here we go again! It’s seems only yesterday that I was ordering a bunch of these. They make for such a fun gift. The U.K. based advent calendars are the best! I’ll snag a few of these but also keep my eye out for Liberty, Harris etc. looks like we may get lucky and they’ll ship to the U.S. this year.
Of course let’s not forget Dyptique, Jo Malone, Molton Brown, Decleor etc. this is just the tip of the iceberg.
September is becoming an expensive month! Space NK beauty edit, Barneys love yourself, cult beauty all had major gift bags last week. Credit cards are getting hot! 🤗

Reply ButtonReply

Kara Sturdevant

Karen, How do I order the space nk beauty edit? I can’t get to it in the us site and it looks like a gwp? How did you hear about the cult beauty bag? I want in on this awesomeness!

Reply ButtonReply

Abby

I’m there with you guys – KarenG & Luna.
KarenG helped me to take the plung with Dyptique and I’ve never regretted it.
So I’m looking forward to this year – especially now that I consider myself an expert.

I hope that we see the advent box for Ritual in the US this year.

Reply ButtonReply

KarenG

Abby, I’m pretty sure they will release one again this year. I would love for an advent calendar full of luxury candles. Dyptique, Byredo, Jo Malone, Cire Trudon etc. It would be pretty pricey but oh boy! 🙂

Since I don’t subscribe to Look Fantastic, most of the items are new to me. I am really hoping that Liberty and Harrods will ship to the U.S.

I already called my girl at Dyptique and told her that I definitely want the advent calendar. They usually start pre-selling in late September.

Luna

I’m right there with you KarenG 😉 I thought I’d get a break at least until October when I thought these would all go on sale, but nope!

I also agree… the U.K. has the best advent calendars. I also saw one from John Lewis(?) that looked along the lines of Liberty & Harrod’s, and I’m pretty sure they ship to the U.S. I think it’s time the U.S. has at least one really high end calendar. Barney’s, SpaceNK, Neimans, Cult Beauty… hello? 😀 Actually, Space NK had a really nice U.K. one last year, but they don’t ship to the U.S., and for some reason their U.S. site didn’t do one. Weird. Plus, Barney’s does their beauty boxes around the holidays. Can’t wait for those!!!

Reply ButtonReply

KarenG

Luna, hang on to that wallet! The ride is gonna be exciting! 🎉🎁👍I also like it when the design isn’t too Christmas-sy.

Liz G

Can anyone list what was in last years calendar, pretty please? I’m super tempted!!

Reply ButtonReply

Svetlana7e

Ordered last week with 15% off. This is going to be my first calendar with them. Looking forward to it.

Reply ButtonReply

Jenna

Code doesn’t seem to be working anymore

Reply ButtonReply

Barb

I just tried it and it’s still working at 11:42 ET.

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

I find the box design totally repulsive – something out of an art house movie.

Reply ButtonReply

Nora

I think the box is awesome, though I love art house movies, too, so I guess I have repulsive taste?

Reply ButtonReply

LB

LOL. Don’t worry…you aren’t the only one. I said down below I thought the design was so cute. But I LOVE Alice in Wonderland….

Luna

On Lookfantastic’s U.K. site it says that this box has a value of over 300GBP, or over $390.

Reply ButtonReply

Barb

I just ordered. The code COMEBACK took off 15%. In the past on limited editions, this code has worked for a while, then they block it, so get in early if you want the discount.

Reply ButtonReply

Kel

Thanks Barb for the discount. It pushed me over the edge. LOL My first beauty advent calendar.

Reply ButtonReply

LB

Thanks so much! Worked for me too…and you convinced me to just bite the bullet and order it. They should hire you to get people to stop thinking and just spend their money. 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Barb

I’m pretty good at spending my own too!

Luna

Thanks so much Barb!!! I was going to wait until I could get some sort of a discount on this, like I did last year, and the code worked!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

Ordered! This was my favourite advent calendar last year.
