Now, onto the items!
Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara with Petite Precision Brush, full size – Value $19
It looks like the packaging is different now, but the formula is still the same for this mascara. It is a true black with a small wand to allow you to get to even the smallest eyelashes. I don’t particularly love the hard bristled wands because I feel like they give me spider lashes (clumpy) but this one wasn’t too bad. It wears well with no smudging for flaking and comes off with a little eye makeup remover.
5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Elegant Taupe, full size – Value $19
This is an all-in-one eye primer. It primes, protects (spf), smoothes, and has color so it can be worn alone or under eyeshadow. I have another lighter shade and use it every day. This shade is darker and I have to be a little more careful about applying it only wear I want it. But, it still creates a super smooth finish that I love all on its own.
Round the Clock Intense Cream-Glide Eyeliner 6PM, full size – Value $17
This eyeliner’s name is accurate, it is intense and it glides on effortlessly. I had to reign it in after the first stroke because it really puts down a lot of product with even the lightest touch. It is nice to not have to tug on your eyelids to get color payoff. This shade is a dark plum with a hint of brighter purple shimmer. It can be blended for a softer look when first applied, but it is waterproof, so once it sets, it is smudgeproof and long-wearing.
Glimmer Eyeshadow Sex Kitten, Extra Small, .28g – Value $8
This shade is a coppery-brown with gold shimmer. It is a tiny little eyeshadow pot, but that is ok because I’ll probably never make it through. You don’t need much to get great color payoff and you can blend it in to get whatever level of shimmer and depth that you desire. The pot has a lid with holes to dispense a small amount of shadow at a time, which is great for loose shadows.
Mineral Eyeshadow Chic Nude, Full size, .57g – Value $15
The second eyeshadow shade is a full size, matte light nude that is perfect for covering your whole lid or for blending darker shadows. It is smooth and velvety when applied and I love that it doesn’t crease. The same lid with holes are in this pot, so no dumping shadow all over yourself.
Double-ended Mini Eyeshadow Brush – Value $5?
I was a little disappointed with this brush. It is small and not super effective at applying eyeshadow. I was hoping for a nice blending liner brush. I don’t think I’ll end up using this.
The products from top to bottom: cream eyeshadow, eyeliner, Sex Kitten, Chic Nude.
Here is a picture of the included products all used in one look. They don’t promise to give you items that will go together, but I felt like what I received worked well as a look.
Verdict: This Bare Minerals Mystery Eye Collection has an estimated value of $83. I think that is great for the cost of $18 + shipping. Even though these are probably items that are being discontinued or have been repackaged, they are in great condition and I will use everything (except the brush). If you love BareMinerals, and like surprises, these mystery collections are a great way to stock up for a fraction of the price.
