One side of the info card announces the theme, which is "Artisan Chic", this month!
The other side talks about each item, and includes a bit of styling advice.
Deepa Gurnani Braelet
This bracelet is heavy on the beading and sparkles, which isn't quite my style. I have plenty of friends that would indeed appreciate this though, so no harm here. This is handmade in India and has a suede backing to the embroidered crystals and beads used within. I really can appreciate the simple fastening design in which you only need to pull each end to tighten. I also like the greyish-blue tassels.
Reversible Triangle Necklace by House of Harlow
First things first, I have to mention that House of Harlow is Nicole Richie's line and I kind of love her. This particular necklace happens to have a different design on each side, so you can flip it based on what you like. One side has black leather inside the triangle (yaaas), and the other, a silver zig zag pattern, bedazzled with rhinestones. I like that the chain is long enough to just pop over my head, so I don't have to struggle with fastening with my long nails.
Both sides are complimentary to today's outfit. Yay!
Paloma Earrings
I really like these earrings! They have a nice simple design, with just a silver post hanging from a silver rope, but are still unique and interesting. Even though they have the hook-style post, they included rubber nubbins so they can't wiggle out of your ears, but I immediately lost one upon opening. I'll have to use a chunk of eraser to replace, since earrings have a way of always working themselves away from my body.
Just enough dangle to be noticeable, but not overbearing.
Bonus Item: Life of Fashion Scarf
Scarves are another thing I go crazy for and own too many of. This one is ultra delicate, as I found out immediately when I kept putting my almond-shaped acrylic nails right through it. It has ice neutral taupe and grey tones, and has not only subtle polka dots, but stripes as well! It's super lightweight, so I can wear this if it gets chilly at night or into the early fall.
Verdict: Your Bijoux Box costs $36 (with free US shipping), which puts each item at a value of $9 each if you count the bonus scarf, or $12 each if you don't. Either way, I think each piece of jewelry was worth at least that. The quality is definitely above fast fashion and more like a department store. I think they did a great job curating this month with a few simple designs and one that was more embellished.
