The theme of this month’s box is “Giving Back.” The card explains that the citrine stone found in this necklace’s pendant will help open your solar plexus chakra, which is the center of will.
The products this month are listed on the back of the card. Also included is a card offering a vacation giveaway for you and a friend.
Citrine Basket Necklace – Listed Value $35
As I said above, this month’s necklace features a citrine stone, which has an amber-ish hue. The stone is hugged by knotted string that dangles down to form two beaded tassels and is supported by a long strand of faux-leather. To me, it has sort of a handmade vibe, maybe because I own a necklace very similar to this that was handmade by a friend!
The necklace and bracelet both arrive in their own organza baggie.
Citrine Bracelet – Listed Value $29
The bracelet features a combo of dark and light beads and some decorative spacers. The info card mentions that the light beads are citrine and the dark ones are “woody,” but they all seem like plastic to me. Because of this, along with the fact that the beads are strung along an elastic band, I’m not sure I buy the $29 price they’re claiming. That said, it’s a nice, versatile piece!
These caramels are free of high fructose corn syrup, gluten, GMOs, the hormone rBST, and artificial ingredients. They’re also kosher! I counted 8 caramels in my package.
While I love caramel drizzles on desserts, I’m not big on caramels themselves, so I only took a tiny bite of these chewy candies. The consistency is very smooth and the taste is very rich, as advertised! My husband also gave ‘em a try and he said they reminded him of saltwater taffy.
SEPTEMBER SPOILER ALERT:
Here’s one of the items you can expect in September’s box.
Verdict: This monthly box costs $24.95 and shipping is free for US customers. According to the info card, included items add up to $66.00, which is believable to me. On one hand, the materials of the necklace seem like items you could find in a craft store; on the other hand, it would take lots of time and expertise to actually create pieces like this oneself. Paired with the candies, which caramel-lovers will surely find dreamy and delicious, this box is a good one!
