Now, on to the items!

Cult Beauty Box by Caroline Hirons Skincare Box

Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse Solid Oil + Cleansing Cream – FULL SIZE! Value $24 USD

Double Cleanse is a unique, 2-in-1 cleanser created by Caroline Hirons to be a versatile solution for both AM and PM cleansing. One side contains a solid cleansing balm, perfect for dissolving makeup and SPF, and the other side contains a cleansing cream, to be used on its own in the morning or as a follow-up cleanse at night.

I absolutely love this product! The solid balm side is great at removing stubborn makeup without leaving the skin feeling stripped and dry. I even used it directly on my eyes to remove waterproof mascara with no irritation. Instead of rinsing, I like to wipe the balm cleanser off with a damp washcloth, and then follow up with the cream cleanser to remove any leftover residue.

Indie Lee CoQ-10 Toner – FULL SIZE! Value $32 USD

After years of dismissing toner as a gratuitous, unnecessary step in my skincare routine, I have recently become a toner-fanatic and was so excited to try this one! I use an acid or retinol on my skin every night, so I’m always in search of a gentle, hydrating toner to neutralize my skin before I continue on to serums and moisturizer.

This toner is formulated with a soothing blend of aloe, chamomile, and cucumber extracts, as well as hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump the skin. I loved how cooling it felt on my skin, and bonus – it smells amazing!

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Universal Daily Peel – 5 treatments, Value $16 USD

Dr. Dennis Gross is one of my favorite skincare lines! These 2-step daily peel pads are so quick and convenient: Step 1 is formulated with Glycolic and Salicylic Acid, and Step 2 is formulated with Retinol. You get all the anti-aging, radiance-boosting benefits without having to juggle multiple products!

Tata Harper Restorative Eye Crème – FULL SIZE! Value $95 USD

It’s always so fun to get to try luxury products at a deep discount thanks to subscription boxes!

This eye cream is supposed to diminish fine lines and wrinkles, improve elasticity and firmness, and diminish dark circles. Say no more! I love the consistency of this product- it’s emollient and moisturizing, but doesn’t sit on top of the skin or feel heavy. After about a week of nightly use, my under eye area is noticeably softer and more moisturized and I actually no longer need to reapply eye cream as part of my morning routine. I’m impressed!

Zelens Provitamin D Treatment Drops – FULL SIZE! Value $185 USD

Wow, talk about an amazing product! Formulated with bio-mimetic lipids and ProVitamin D, this serum is designed to soothe and protect compromised skin on any end of the spectrum. It not only plumps and diminishes signs of aging, but also protects against acne-causing bacterial infection, perioral dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis. On her blog, Caroline Hirons also recommends this serum for anyone going through chemotherapy.

This is one of those rare products that actually yield immediate results. After only a few uses, my skin is noticeably plumper, extremely soft to the touch, and any patches of redness/texture/acne have calmed and subsided. I woke up the next morning and had to do a double take- I have never seen results so quickly from a skincare product.

January Labs Moisture Balancing Lotion – FULL SIZE! Value $28 USD

This universal moisturizer is a light, non-sticky day lotion compatible for all skin types.

Cult Beauty Box by Caroline Hirons Skincare Box

I have normal to dry skin and prefer more emollient moisturizers, so I was apprehensive, but I was so pleasantly surprised. I layered this over the Zelens ProVitamin D Drops and woke up the next morning feeling so hydrated and moisturized.

Verdict: I can’t remember the last time I was so thoroughly impressed with every single item in a box! I love that the box includes a product for every step of the skincare routine, and features versatile, multi-functional products that complement each other. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and intention went into the curation of this box.

With an overall value of $380 USD, the products come at a 50% discount, which is great for a luxury skincare box! While the value is great, the overall cost of the box is still pretty steep! But if you’re a Caroline Hirons fan or just a lover of all things skincare, this is the box for you!

I noticed that you havent reviewed this box in a while? is there a reason behind that? because looking at this one has me interested!

The Caroline Hirons x Cult Beauty boxes aren’t a subscription box (unfortunately). They are typically for sale only in May & December. There should be one coming soon. I’ve been stalking Caroline’s blog for news on it now that it is April.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I just can’t comprehend the idea behind expensive skincare. If one reads the ingredients list on any of these magic potions, one will notice that with the exception of some scientifically unproven “star” ingredient, there’s mostly water and glycerin.

I am glad that these items seemingly please some people, though.

I agree with you, Emilia. It’s mind boggling to imagine paying so much for one item that is purely cosmetic.

But then again, I’m cheap. My favourite price after “FREE” is “SALE.”

Emilia

Mine as well. I like well-made things just like anybody else, but I refuse to pay a penny more than I think it’s worth. When I buy something expensive, I always keep in mind that 70% of the price is the brand. I am cheap, thrifty, economical – whatever you call it, I spend my money wisely. But then again, everybody’s wisedom is defferent :).

Caved and expect to look 10 years younger soon!

I just placed an order (well, really I caved!) and noticed that the website reversed my city and state when I reviewed the order, so it looks like I live in the city of Massachusetts. It accepted my selection of United States, but didn’t illustrate the address correctly. Did anyone else experience this?

Hi Karen! I just double checked my confirmation email and my city and state were listed correctly. Maybe try contacting customer service? In my experience, their CS is great.

Karen R

Thanks, when I checked the email confirmation it was correct! Looking forward to trying everything in here!

Monica

How long did it take for the box to arrive in the U.S.?

Misha Fazeli

Hi Monica! My order was placed and shipped on July 26th and arrived August 4th. The Cult Beauty site lists 5-10 business days for standard shipping to the US.

Monica

Thank you! Enjoy yo’re box! Can’t wait to get mine😄

Thank you! Enjoy you’re box! Can’t wait to get mine….

I just placed an order (couldn’t resist after the glowing review and overwhelmingly positive comments) but when I entered my shipping address they reversed the city and state so it looks like I live in the city of Massachusetts, not the State of MA. Did anyone else experience this?

KarenG

Ok, this seals it. I’m buying right now! 🤗

KarenG, I’m shocked you weren’t first in line!!! 😀

Right???!!! Been crazy busy at work so I’ve been asleep at the wheel! 🙂

Caroline Hirons’ advice has been lifechanging for me, and I love her blog and this box! The Vit D drops are amazing. I’ve been through two jars of the double cleanse. Everything in this box is great!

I am a big fan of Caroline and read her blog. I love that she knows her skincare, this makes me confident in the products she chooses for the box. I also appreciate how she explains the importance and how to use the items she recommends. I am a skincare freak! Thanks to her, I now have a great routine that I enjoy!

I couldn’t buy this fast enough. I just got two other Zelens products during the Space NK sale this summer and they are great! I love boxes like this!

Claudia

I purchased this collection and honestly this is the first box ever that I have used and liked every item and I have received an insane number of boxes over the 2-3 years I’ve been coming here (Yes, I’m looking at you MSA!). I’ve finally cut back on my monthly subs, well the beauty ones anyway, but things like this actually make some sense to purchase. I wish I could use more product but I can only wash my face so many times a day, lol.

I’ve wanted to try the Zelens for a while and the rest of the products I like but have had limited exposure to. Now if I can just stash away some money and not cave every time I see a review!

Luna

Unfortunately, this wasn’t a subscription box, but I sure do wish that Cult Beauty and Caroline Hirons did subscription boxes!!! 😀

Also, this box is actually a tiny bit over a 50% discount! I think maybe the 40% discount is based on the U.K. prices where the tax is included. Here’s the box breakdown I included in the original launch post using USD prices I found online:

It’s listed at 170 pounds, but since the price includes a 16.67% U.K. tax that only U.K. residents have to pay, the price drops to 141 pounds/$185 upon checkout. It’s a $380 value. It includes the following full-sized items:
– Zelens Power D Treatment Drops ($185)
– Tata Harper Restorative Eye Cream ($95)
– Indie Lee CoQ10 Toner ($32)
– January Labs Moisture Balancing Lotion ($28)
– Pixi Double Cleanse ($24)
– Dr. Dennis Gross Universal Peel Pads (this is a 5-pack, so may not be full-sized) ($16)

Hi Luna!
Thanks so much for catching! Misha had it right and the incorrect values were a proofreading error on my part. Her review has been updated! 🙂 Sara

I know! This is why I had to get it! I love the discount.

This is box for people that would like to try luxury skin care without buying all full items. The only thing I would be interested is Zelens Provitamins D Drops. I can order those directly, free shipping, minus taxes and Cult Beauty will include delux samples. I think if you take taxes out of cost of the box, same should be done with items. Than value would not add up to what’s stated in review.

Bath and unwind sells Zelens Provitamins D Drops 30ml – full size for $
115.00. Not sure where $185.00 in review comes from.

Maggie

I love this box! It’s a complete routine & it’s at such an amazing discount for luxury skincare. I’ve been really pleased with my box. These Carol Hirons/Cult Beauty boxes are something I save up for, but I will continue to do so too. I love skincare & I love Caroline!

Luna

That’s why I’ve always loved Caroline’s boxes… she always does a (mostly) full skincare routine in each of her boxes. I can’t wait for her next one!

Maggie

Me too! I’m looking forward to the holidays this year. She might do another box, well, at least she has the past 2 years anyway. 🙂
