A month late, like the previous box, but it has FINALLY arrived for me. The July box was themed around Spider-Man, and they included a bonus pair of Spider-Man socks for subscribers receiving the box late and missing an item.

More on that below.

I love the newspaper ad card style from this box! It includes information about the items in your box.

In summation – the box is super late and missing one of their bigger items – I hope they can get all of these issues solved across the board. Some subscriptions seem to have been getting better, but Marvel has been one, for me at least, that has been notorious for being late.

I saw them help this by moving figure production in-house with their Loot Crate Originals, I’m hoping they can do the same with their clothing manufacturers.

Venom Pin – Value $5-10?

In the Spider-Verse, my favorite villain has always been Venom – just ask Liz about my life-sized Venom bust in my den! So, this month’s pin is my favorite yet – and it’s got that crude comic book feeling to the design.

Spider-Verse Pillow Set – Value $30-35 for both?

This is a first – and a welcome first – for a geeky box! A Miles Morales Spider-Man and a Spider-Gwen pillow!

The shipped rolled up, vacuum packed, and shrink wrapped. Lucky, none of them cut open in shipping since Liz and I have some experience with that issue!

Both designs are pretty playful – Gwen’s has her just hanging out with a yoyo, waiting for action.

While Miles is just waving hello! These are my favorite items from the box – and are going right to my office.

Spider-Man Sleep Mask – Value $10?

The best way to look cool with a sleep mask is to add Spider-Man.

It’s got a fleece-like backing to make it more comfortable while you sleep.

Spider-Woman Valet Tray – Value $15?

The next item features Spider-Woman – they’ve done a good job of including a bunch of different Spider-Verse characters!

Pinch the buttons together to make your tray.

I do like that the items are pulling graphically from comics and not movies – it’s definitely my personal preference.

Spider-Man Socks – Bonus For Late Shipping

Again, these are a bonus item for people just getting the box. You might remember these from the June Loot Socks shipment. I’ll always take more socks – so I’m happy to have another pair.

Verdict: Reminder that this box is still missing a pretty big item – the Spider-Verse lounge shorts (which are noted as shipping separately) – while that’s a big bummer for me to have to wait even longer, I like most of what I got in this box. The pillows and pin are perfect for me, I’ll use the tray, and Liz might use the sleep mask. I know I’ll like the lounge shorts because I’m a lounge shorts kinda guy, so the box would be a hit, in the end. I’m glad they shipped everything else without waiting for a single late item – I’ve heard otherwise for other subscriptions – I’m hoping they can get the shipping issues resolved this Fall.
