Very tempting, mainly for the contouring pallet and brush. I’m still a newbie to contouring.. Hmmmm… I would also like to know more about the company itself and customer service. Do they have any shipping issues or are they good about shipping at the same time every month etc…

My contour kit is a tester. It is marked in big red letters “tester not for resale”. I would steer clear of this box

I can tell you from experience they send expired products…they sent me a sunscreen that was 3 months expired and their excuse was “the company said that it’s not actually an expiration date it is how they keep track of their inventory” um really…very lame excuse! An expiration is put on a product for a reason and it is not to keep track of inventory! And a expired sunscreen is serious in my opinion!

I agree with you on that! I definitely want to know that I’m protecting my face with a good product, not junk that’s expired… Hmm definitely worth considering, thank you for your time and input. 😉

I would say they normally ship around the 20th of the month. My last month with them was June, when they had delays due to new box design, and I actually received mine on the 29th, which was just in time to cancel, since they charge for next month on the 30th.

Does anyone else have to pay the mailman for shipping cost?? And I didnt receive 2 BOXES, may and june, they ignoring me, and now when i email i email myself.

Dea

Easy pass. I’m too pale to contour, on brush overload, and ipsy already gave me this exact eyeshadow pod.

Hmm. Anyone have experience with this box? Since Macy’s is a no go, I’m looking for one to fill its spot. I’m completely unfamiliar with Lola so I’d greatly appreciate any input. Thanks!

Yeah that’s a big deal, and one of the worst excuses I’ve ever heard. Just imagine someone believing that bs then ruining their skin because it wasn’t actually protected. I’d be livid! And expired skincare products is a problem. Many of them have ingredients that don’t hold well and lose their full effectiveness before the expiration date even comes around.

I appreciate your honesty. The contour palette was intriguing because that’s one of the few areas I’m lacking in. But the last thing I need is another sub with issues. I think I’ll pass and look for something with less complications lol.

JuJu

I do. In my experience they occasionally send expired items to pad the retail value of the box.

The curation on the whole though seems to be hit or miss, it depends on the month. You can look up past boxes and see if they appeal to you. July to me was not appealing at all, this month is looking better, but I am not going to give this box any more chances after the expired skincare items I received.

Well that’s a problem, and one of the worst customer service excuses I’ve ever heard. Imagine someone believing that and using the sunscreen anyway. That could result in soooo much skin damage! Not to mention many skincare products lose their full effectiveness before the expiration date even comes around. There are quite a few ingredients that don’t hold for long periods of time.

Thank you for your honesty. The contour palette was intriguing but the last thing I need is another sub with issues. I’ll look for one with less hassle.

Toni

I’m intrigued
