MorpheMe August 2017

Morphe R7 Deluxe Pointed Powder Brush – Value $15.99

This tapered brush has wonderful versatility. Use it for bronzer, blush, or setting powder. Depending on which angle you tilt its bristles, the brush lends itself to various application techniques. I used it to apply my bronzer, and it blended beautifully.

Morphe R39 Tapered Blender – Value $5.99

This brush can be used on its side for eyeshadow application on the lid. Try focusing product on just the tip for precise crease color, or apply more pressure to sweep out the product. It made for a terrific blending brush for my smokey eye look!

Morphe R14 Round Contour – Value $9.99

This domed, rounded brush is ideal for contour. Its dense bristles allow for smooth application and blending. I used it for precise highlighter as well as blush application, and it worked well with both areas of the face.

Verdict: The quality of brushes in this month’s MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club box really impressed me! The value of these 3 brushes came to about $32.00, which exceeds their promised value of $30. Pretty terrific considering the $19.99 box cost and versatility of each item!

  1. I’m just wondering, if I sign up for 6 months, would I end up having too many brushes by the end of the subscription? How long do I use a brush before I throw it away?

  2. I’d love to see the brushes in use! Like “I did this eye look with this brush” or swatches done with them. The info is really helpful, but seeing a look would be even better. 😀

    • Thanks for the feedback, Jackie! Noted!

  3. I enjoy reading these to figure out how to use all these differently shaped brushes.

    • So glad that this review was helpful for you!
