The theme for this month’s Juneberry box is “Rainy Days at Sea.” This is the information card that came in the package, detailing the contents. For this subscription, there’s usually no way to know the retail value of the items they provide, so I’m using the values they have listed, which look reasonable.

Waterproof Beach Pouch – Listed Value $9.99

Summer is a never-ending struggle to keep everything dry at the beach, pool, or lake, isn’t it? Especially my phone, which it looks like this pouch is the perfect size for! I didn’t have the nerve to test the waterproofness of this pouch with my phone, so I tested it out with some paper. The paper stayed dry! Awesome!

Nautically-Inspired Tin Box – Listed Value $8.99

What a cute little tin! This looks like something that would be perfect for holding jewelry while on vacation. A mini jewelry box! Or maybe some tiny, beautiful seashells?

I love starfish! These little earrings are so cute! I think it’s a fun and different design for studs, and perfect for summer!

Under the Sea Pendant Necklace – Listed Value $14.99

How pretty! The chain on this necklace is pretty small, and it’s not totally my style, so I passed this one on to my teen niece. She loved it!

Bath & Body Works Amazon Rain Body Cream – Value $3.25 (originally $13)

This shea butter body cream is super buttery and soothing. It also has a light tropical fragrance, but nothing too overwhelming. I like it! This will be great for soothing sun damaged skin.

Verdict: Juneberry is a fun box that always sends out the sweetest items! I like the earrings a lot, and the body cream will totally get used up fast! Everything else will also definitely go to good use. I think this would make a really fun gift subscription, too. The value of everything this month totals around $48, which is great for a $28.50 box!

  1. I’m digging the value of the waterproof pouch, but everything else (apart from the lotion) seems, ahem, inflated by $5. I’d deduct $15 from the listed value. Still a fun box, but their pricing doesn’t jive. Anna, can you put a coin or a soda can next to the tin, to give an idea of the size?

    • I just got a similar waterproof phone pouch (by Joto, on Amazon) for $2.99

    • That’s a good idea, Dea. Next time. Meanwhile, the tin is about 3″ x 3″ x 4″. Thanks!
