La Gazette August 2017

This subscription also comes with a short magazine that tells you more about the jewelry selected for this month along with a profile on the designer.

Great News – when you sign up for this subscription, you can select if you prefer gold or silver jewelry (and clip on or pin earrings).

Now, time for the jewelry!

HELLES Stone Ring – Value $90

Subscribers will either receive turquoise or mother-of-pearl for the stone. (And you’ll receive the metal of your choice.)

The ring is easy to adjust, so it should work on any finger size.

Here it is on:

This piece is made of brass and gilded with 18K gold (or soaked in a silver bath if you went with the silver option.)

All Emma & Chloe pieces also come with a certificate of authenticity:

And jewelry care instructions:

Verdict: Another great month for me! This ring is a bit bolder than some of the delicate pieces Emma & Chloe sends, but the simple lines keep it well within my fashion comfort zone! (I also am very happy with the Mother-of-Pearl version.)

In general, if you love delicate jewelry like I do, I highly recommend this subscription.

Plus I love that they let you specify if you want gold or silver – I think that really helps cut out the risk of this subscription. And the packaging and presentation of this subscription box are amazing. This definitely qualifies as a gift to yourself – it was so fun to unbox!

What do you think of this month’s Emma & Chloe?

  1. I have loved each piece I’ve received from them. It’s fun to try something I wouldn’t normally purchase and it’s a treat to get jewelry.

  2. The gold and pearl ring is beautiful! Would anyone like to swap the gold and turquoise that I got for the pearl version?

  3. I would definitely sub to this box but I don’t want to pay 10.00 shipping each month plus the 35.00. If it was straight 35.00, I would sub. 🙁

    • I could be wrong but I think the 35 is with shipping. When I put the code it it showed that the box cost 25 + the 10 for shipping but I don’t know for sure.

      • Yes, shipping is included. With tax (NY), it comes to $38.11 for me each month.

  4. For $10, who can resist? 😉 I signed up.

  5. I have giant man hands. How big will this ring adjust to? I’d need at least a size 9.

    • I’m with you Tamara, and it fits, even on my middle finger!! I’m at least a 9, maybe closer to 10 on my middle finger. I call mine giant man hands too, lol.

      • Yay! Well, not for the giant man hands. That’s really inconvenient. Yay for the ring fitting! 🙂

  6. I love this ring. Do you know if I can subscribe now and get this box or will I get September?

    • If you subscribe with the first box for $10 deal today, then this should be your first box!

      • Thanks 🙂

  7. I have been so pleasantly surprised with this subscription. I find myself really looking forward to getting it, and I love the pieces that I’ve received so far. I’ve even bought two additional pieces from their website.

    • I love it too. All the pieces are so pretty and classic, and I wear them all.

  8. I’m so annoyed. I really like this ring and they charged me for this box but never sent it and won’t respond to my emails. Last month they forgot to charge me and didn’t send the box. At least I didn’t pay for that one. I guess I’ll have to contact my credit card co. This is the worst experience with a sub I’ve every had. Oui Please has better customer service and that’s a pretty low bar.

    • I haven’t received my box this month even though they charged me. Not getting any response through email either!

  9. I love my ring! I have small fingers (size 4-5) and was able to adjust to make it fit.

  10. If anyone gets the silver and mother of pearl version and doesn’t want it, let me know. I have other Emma and Chloe items for swap or the silver and turquoise version. You can see my swap profile by clicking my name.

  11. I keep striking out with this subscription, two of my pieces have broken and now I’m stuck with the cheap looking turquoise stone. I wish they would stick with actual sizing, nothing about “adjustable ring size” says luxury or quality to me. This ring was better than most, but most of their adjustable rings just scream (gum ball machine!) to me.
