BuddhiBox includes an info card each month features an inspiring mantra, as well as a list of the products and their values. So, when I noticed there was a card this month, I reached out to customer service and they emailed a PDF copy right away!
The Dreaming Yogi Meditation – Listed Value $10
Each month you will receive a card that lists a website to visit for your monthly meditation. August’s meditation is all about balancing your chakra. This guided meditation was only 6 minutes long and was perfect to listen to right before bed. I found the instructor to be very helpful and I really felt a sense of calm after each time I used this meditation. I have always been interested in learning more about how to balance chakras so I was excited that I will be able to use this guided meditation over again!
Orange Calcite Stone – Listed Value $10
The information card says that this is known as the ‘enhancement stone’ and is meant to remove unwanted creative blocks. I have never used a stone during my meditations, but after reading about the benefits of this specific stone I am excited to try it! The stone itself is very beautiful with its bright orange color. I am going to keep this with me in my office to use for a quick meditation when I need help in bringing back that creative energy!
The Hippie Homesteader – BREATHE Essential Oil Blend – Value $10 (info card listed the value as $16)
This roll on oil seems perfect to use when you are on the go for a quick pick me up or before a yoga/meditation class. The description card says to use this to become clear and open again, and I would have to say that is exactly what this oil provided for me! It is calming from the eucalyptus, pine, and rosemary yet provides an awakening feeling from the peppermint and lemon. I am constantly on the move and this oil has been great to use when I need a quick reminder to just breathe!
Palo Santo – Value $2 on Amazon (info card lists the value as $4)
The description card says that Palo Santo, or “Holy Wood”, comes from a mystical tree that grows in South America. You are meant to light the ends, let burn for 30 seconds, blow out, and then move the smoke around any room to clear out the energy. I have never used a method like this to clear the energy out in my home or work space, but I was really excited to try it! The smoke from the wood gave off a very beautiful and natural smell. Hopefully the healing powers from Palo Santo helped!
Alightened Skin Care Nutritive Revitalizing Facial Oil, 0.034 oz. – Value $2.96 (buy a 1 fl oz bottle for $87)
This last item was a sample size facial oil made with ingredients like spinach, watermelon, blueberry, and pumpkin from organic farming. The oil is meant to clarify and brighten your skin while adding elasticity and moisture. I have sensitive skin, but didn’t feel any irritation when adding this new product to my routine. I have been using this before bed instead of moisturizer and wake up with my skin feeling so fresh! A larger bottle retails at $87, but I love this oil so much that I wonder if it is something I might have to get when I run out of this tester size!
Verdict: This was my first time receiving BuddhiBox Essential Oils, and I must say the monthly cost of $15.95 is absolutely worth it! Factoring in the price difference I was able to find online for the essential oil, you still have a calculated value of about $35, great deal! I was excited when I opened this month’s box to see that the meditation was around balancing your chakras since that is an interest of mine, and I love that the guided meditation is something you can use over again. The Palo Santo were a unique piece that allowed me to try something new, but I will say I almost missed them in the box since they weren’t packaged in anything. This box would make the perfect gift for yourself or a fellow yoga or mediation lover!
