I’m not a Birchbox Beta member or on Ace status, but today I found out what I’m getting in my September Birchbox:

Briogeo Leave-In Conditioner (I picked this as my Sample Choice)

Pixi Lip Max Lip Gloss (I have mixed feelings about this; on the one hand I’m happy to finally be getting a lippie; on the other hand it’s kind of a plumping lip gloss, and I don’t know if could still use this since my lips are already naturally plump)

Lip mask (I don’t remember the brand but I do know that it’s from the same brand that also has the under eye pads)

Evologie Blemish Serum

Facial Toner (Again I forgot the brand)

How did you find out? I also selected the conditioner but the other 4 items are still unknown.

I picked the leave-in spray as my sample choice, for every time I pick a makeup item as my sample choice the rest of that month’s box ends up being lackluster for me. Here’s hoping that September’s box will be good. Also, I was thinking of becoming a Birchbox Beta member, but I’m not sure if the extra $5 a month would be in my budget, as I already have not only Birchbox, but also Ipsy, Sephora Play (which I just resubscribed to), and the OnyxBox (which is a $25/month box curated for women of color like me) billing me on the 1st of the month. Making sure I have enough money in my account to pay for all four boxes before the 1st is already enough of a pain for me.

I haven’t even received my August Box yet.

there was an announcement via email that they switched shipping providers and this has caused problems with many who have not received their birchboxes. They want to hear from anyone who did not receive their boxes. Hope this helps!

Thank you! They re-sent an order that got lost along the way, but I hadn’t heard anything about my August box. I’ll try contacting them.

Very weird… I’m not an Ace and I had the option to choose my box today.

Nothing looked really appealing to me this month so instead of choosing a sample I chose the curated box. The dry shampoo, lip gloss, and strobing pencil are the only things to look forward to in my opinion.

I just resubbed last month because I was excited about the Dr. Jart hydrogel, Purlisse mask, and Living Proof mask. Unfortunately this month I’m not impressed with either the sample choices or the curated box. I am still working on a full sized Briogio leave-in conditioning spray and don’t use mascara so I opted for the curated box because I think I will enjoy trying the lip mask and gloss, not sure about the strobe stick or the hair products, though.

Is the briogio item for ethnic hair? Some of the reviews talked about their afros… I feel like that would have been mentioned? I was leaning towards that item until I read the reviews. I just have brittle blonde color treated hair. Ethnic hair care would not work for me.

It can be used on any hair that needs conditioning.

Curated box is in shop for purchase also!
