The Cost: The Lucerna VellaBox is $10/month with $2 shipping; the Ignis VellaBox is $20/month with $2 shipping, and the Vivere Vellabox is $30/month with free shipping and handling.
The Products: The Lucerna gives you one ~4 oz candle/month, the Ignis sends one ~8 oz candle/month, and the Vivere which sends you 1-2 candles totaling ~12 oz/month.

Pontie Wax Fig + Olive Candle - Value $9.25
This 4-ounce soy wax candle has a burn time of 24 hours and comes in a gold tin. The scent is a bit more perfumey than I would have guessed a fig + olive candle would be. Sometimes candles diffuse a bit when lit, so I will have to do that to see for sure. I do like the scent though, and the tin is classy!
I like when the lid of a candle tin fits perfectly under its base. Otherwise, I never know what to do with it! It's great that this candle has a double wick as well, to make sure it burns evenly.
All Good Lips Original Organic Lip Balm with SPF 15, 4.25 g - Value $2.79
I will never have enough lip balms...or will I? I never thought so, but I am honestly am starting to hit my max. This totally makes sense to come with a candle though, and I love the subtle lavender smell. Glad it's organic too!
Verdict: The presentation of VellaBox is really well done and the candle is high quality. I hope next month to get a different additional product besides lip balm, but I will toss this into one of my heavy coats for the winter. The value fell exactly on the cost of the subscription, so it's worth it. Excited to see what candle comes next!
