Stitch Fix is a monthly styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences, and then your personal stylist sends you 5 items to try once a month. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

This is my invoice sheet. It lists the prices per item and the discount I’d receive by keeping all 5 items. With the 25% discount and my $20 styling fee factored in, this box would cost me a total of $176.50 to keep everything – an average of $35.30 per item and a total discount of $85.50.
Every Stitch Fix also includes a note from your stylist and a card showing each item and styling inspiration.
Street Level Anchorage Striped Canvas Tote – Cost to Keep: $64
I love that my stylist sent me a bag in my maternity fix. This isn’t my usual style but it’s designed well and feels high quality!
There are three main compartments (which I LOVE because I’ll need this as a diaper bag and will have space for Gideon’s things, the new baby’s things, and my things!), two that snap and one zippered.
Lots of pockets and room in this bag. I wish it weren’t so heavy all by itself, and I wouldn’t pick it up on my own, but I like what it has to offer and I kept it for the 5-item discount. (spoiler: I kept this month’s whole box!)
Lux & Co Jaden Maternity On/Off the Shoulder Knit Top – Cost to Keep: $38
This top, which is made of super soft and comfy knit, is made as an off or on the shoulder top. Here it is off the shoulder.I love this color! Normally, I’m too busty for ruffles at the top to work but this one is short enough that I think it hits me well.
And here it is on-the-shoulder! I love it, especially worn like this. I’m just more comfortable and I feel like the ruffle/sleeve piece lays better like this. I feel girly and flirty in this top.
Loveapella Maternity Oasis Twist Sleeve Maternity Knit Top – Cost to Keep: $48
This tank was the first thing I knew I was keeping this month. I paired it with some white capris I got in my May Stitch Fix. This bold cobalt blue is one of my favorites, and the material is soft, stretchy, and double-layered so it has some great support and feels higher quality. The shoulder straps have a fun twist detail, though it’s more just of a cross-over. It’s subtle but definitely makes this not just a basic tank.
Le Lis Praji Maternity Tie Front Blouse – Cost to Keep: $54
My stylist this month suggested I pair this top specifically with the same white capris I kept from a previous fix. I love it! I generally gravitate towards belted tops and such, especially post-pregnancy because they’re so flattering and easy to wear. I love that this top can serve me well even on normal day-to-day occasions and not just while I’m pregnant.
Lux & Co Blair Maternity Cold Shoulder Fitted Dress – Cost to Keep: $58
Can I just… UGH this dress! It’s a little out of my comfort zone but I LOVE it. I love the way the cold shoulder detail was designed and laid out (anyone else find that sometimes cold shoulder tops just cut out too far in and are effectively just where your bra straps sit?). I love this color, though I really don’t have much of it in my closet. I feel great in this dress, and my husband likes it, too. I have to make sure to get some good date night wear out of it! I’m also feeling like life (and pregnancy?) is too short to not get good wear out of clothes that make you feel good so I’ll need to encourage myself to just wear this out and about. I think it’d look great dressed down with a jean jacket but I don’t own a jean jacket, plus it’s been really hot lately. Anyways, I love this dress and it’s one of my favorite Stitch Fix Maternity finds.
Verdict: I know I already spoiled it, but I kept this whole box! I love the vibe, color, and fit of everything that was chosen for me this month. I like having a new bag with lots of pockets, compartments, and room for me and two little boys.
I love having maternity clothing I feel so good about, but I’m struggling with the fact that I actually think I like my maternity clothes more than my normal wardrobe! Maybe it’s because I feel cuter/don’t have to feel insecure about my stomach when I’m pregnant and that means I just like wearing clothes more in general? I’m trying to make sure I have some good pieces, like the Le Lis top, that I can wear afterward, but I need to work on curating a normal wardrobe I love this much after October, too!
