I work for Walgreens. You have to buy $30 before taxes worth of eligible products and a Catalina coupon prints out with a special code you enter in the website listed on the coupon. Many of my customers buy a pack of men’s razor refills and they get the Catalina coupon just for that purchase.

Wait, where do you even get this thing? It’s really confusing, and you have to physically go to a store?

whats in the box?!

Taren

Too much effort.

This kind of stuff drives me nuts. Why do they make it so hard? 🙁 Also, they no longer sell the hairspray that I like in the store, so if only you could just buy whatever beauty products you wanted for the $30, online included, that would be way better. But the box seems to be produced only by/for these specific brands… my hairspray is not one of them. It’s a bother.

Agreed. I don’t buy a single one of those featured products, it’d be much more appealing if I could buy the items I like!

Yeah… no way I’m getting this without already knowing what’s in it.

If I needed to buy $30. of actual beauty items { to me makeup} I would have been all over it. I don’t want $30. of those other brand items. I will pass.

Thanks for the comments. I don’t need this much work for a box of things I don’t really need.

Ditto. So glad I stuck around for some people to comment before rushing off to the store. ;o) Nothing I really need but could have justified the purchase because they are all things we would make use of eventually. Not going to make a special trip for a box of sample packs though.

Wow. Samples of things I just bought. No thanks. Thanks for the warning, ladies. That said, Liz, review this if you can.

I might try to get one. But what’s in the box?! I have no idea if it’s going to be worth it, lol.

I got this box last time. Maybe fall? I was not impressed. I got Pantene shampoo samples.Ugh. The only other thing I remember was a small sample red jar of the Olay lotion that was good because I was out of others to try. You have to buy the same products to get the same products in samples. Doesn’t make sense to me. It was easy to submit the information with the print out Walgreen gives you.

Amber

Did anyone get one of these last time?

Too many steps for me. Need to go to the store, find the proper brands and things you will REALLY need and use and deal with exclusions and discounts and hope that the coupon prints at checkout and if it doesn’t, hope that the staff is willing to figure it out. Then hope that the code works on the site and the box is still available and actually worth it. Not for me.

Ja

Well said. But, if one likes those products, then it’s probably worth their time and effort.

Tat

You nailed it. I have no idea what is in the box. I will not waste time and effort on it.
