Yesterday, PopSugar had a Freds at Barneys NY S’mores kit and a Bluetooth Speaker Spring Lights (looked like a string of white xmas lights with a little speaker attached) on their snapchat. The S’mores kit looked a lot like the s’mores in the photo PopSugar used to advertise the July box and the little lights could be fireflies. They also had cactus candles, a blanket, macrame garland, a cooler bag, and a sun shade tent. Not sure if any of those will end up in the box. Unfortunately, it’s no longer in their Snapchat story.

Hey does anyone remember if they have a super deal normally in past years for 3 to 6 month subscriptions?Or is it just Black Friday? Next year I will get the year instead of 6 months because I really enjoy their colorful monthly treats. Well for 20 of course lol. My luck though is that they will have a sucky deal because many people have moved on to other boxes instead and ain’t pulling in the cash they use too. My thoughts only…

Probably a Firefly necklace, ring or earrings? Maybe some sunscreen or a Sunscreen Primer, both of which I will welcome, as I just had skin cancer removed from the side of my nose. My dermatologist told me to invest in a good quality facial sunscreen and a good separate body sunscreen. I have high hopes!!!

I don’t know which was worse – the swans or the plastic purse. It made me feel like their target audience is between 3 to 6 years old.

Based on the connection between the themes and the items we get I feel like I should guess that it will be a water bottle, portable Bluetooth speaker or a necklace. I think it would be awesome if fireflies was one of those cool lamps that project lights all over the walls in cool designs (I know it won’t be). I’m still using up credits from one of the deals and paying $20/box which makes it worth it just for the fun and I’m looking forward to seeing what we get. Would be really nice if if the box would lean a little more toward grown up and a little less super trendy.

I am still waiting for my June box 🙁 — no shipping notice and still says “processing” on my account. (also says processing for my July box). Waiting for PopSugar to reply (wish I could reach them by phone vs email).

My June box was lost so I contacted them about it. They sent me a “replacement” and then two boxes showed up! The June box was the worst box ever and while I was able to give most of the 1st box I got to my niece, I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this second box. Blah.

Huge marshmallow fan here, so anything s’mores would be great.
FWIW, that “horrid” tyvek bag from last month that had everyone up in arms ended up being indispensable to me on our vacation. Kept my phone, wallet and essentials dry while at the beach and on boating activities. I also used it to pack swimsuits that were still damp for the trip home.

You’re not talking about that terrible red bag, are you? If you’re talking about the aloha one, I loved it on our trip to the beach! I keep my glasses and phone in it by the pool, to protect them from splashes. It’s great and so cute!

No, not the red bag, although I have been using that one as a lunch box. Maybe I am super easy to please, but I find I can gift or repurpose most of the items in sub. boxes. The book from last month is not my genre but I will just pass it along to someone who is into more light reading.

It always ends up that the boxes that are the least liked are the ones where I actually use the items the most. Sometimes I need functional. Also I found that the sea spray is the only way my hair will hold curl in humid weather. My daughter (22) loved the trucker hat.

I love this theme! Makes me miss summer bonfires. I can’t even fathom truly enjoying it in these Louisiana summers. I’m excited to see what this box holds!

First of all, it’s the fifth of the month – we should have an actual spoiler by now, dangit!
Second, the theme is not inspiring me. But then, there’s usually so little connection between the theme words and the actual items, so I’m not suuuuper worried.
I do like the idea of a beauty item that will withstand sweltering heat, though. I’m in Florida, so we get a lot of that.

A little oil lamp or hurricane with beach/bonfire-themed cutouts would be cool for the campfire theme. And I’m always down for more marshmallows…especially chocolate or mint-flavored ones.
