Papergang is a monthly stationery subscription box from quirky UK design team, Ohh Deer. Each month they partner with a different artist and have a theme to bring you paper goods and desk accessories.

The info card is on smooth matte card stock and outlines all of the treasures you received this month. I'm loving the colors in this box: dark plums and warm greys.
Papergang has partnered with Tree Aid to make sure that for every 4 boxes they sell, one tree gets planted in the African Drylands, which helps with vital food and income.
Papergang Drew Patch - Value $0
The very first thing I saw when opening this box was Drew, the Papergang leader! This patch comes with your first box to commemorate you being part of the gang. I love the pencil crown!
Linen Notebook - Listed Value $16.74 USD
The first item is a gorgeous linen notebook designed by this month's artist (photographer), Susan Castillo. The purplish grey background and violet hued leaves conjure up more fall vibes than summer, but that doesn't mean I love it any less.
The cover has "Notes" in gold foil emblazoned on the soft linen.
The pages inside are lined and it has a ribbon bookmark to keep your spot.
Each page has a place to write the year, month, and day for easy journaling.
The leaf pattern continues on to the back of the notebook, also gold foiled with Ohh Deer's name.
Brass Ruler - Listed Value $12.86 USD
How did they know of my penchant for beautiful rulers? I have several rulers already, but not a beautiful brass one like this. The ruler measures at 6.5", including the hole at the end for easy hanging. The front has inches as well centimeters, stamped into it.
The back is a plain, and unstamped. This will look so posh sitting on my vintage desk.
Happy Birthday Card - Listed Value $3.23 USD
Here we have another lovely piece by photographer Susan Castillo, in the form of a birthday card. For those who have distinguished taste, you can use this to celebrate them from afar.
Riso Printed Calendar - Listed Value $0
No value was listed for this small one-page monthly calendar, so it looks to just be a little freebie. It features the leaf design carried throughout the other items this month and is perfect to pin up at your desk for quick reference.
Verdict: I'm really excited to discover Ohh Deer and Papergang because I simply adore stationery and office supplies! Even though this is only the first month, I get the feeling they are the perfect mix of fun and classy, which is kind of where I'm at in my life right now. Looking at their blog and shop, I see a large gamut of different designs and I'm drawn to most of them! Since the items seem mostly exclusive to Papergang, I went with the listed values for everything. Once I converted them to USD, it came to almost $33 for the three items that listed value, not counting the cool patch! The shipping to PA was $ 4.95 GBP (which google says is $6.46 USD), making the total cost of the box only $20.53. I'm really interested to see what future boxes hold!
