The booklet list gives you a decent amount of information on each item.

NMNL June 2017 - 0029

This month included the same bonus item as the May box. I liked trying out the Ahalo Butter Shampoo and Hair Mask so I'm happy to save these for another day! The packaging is adorable and the products left my hair feeling moisturized.

Candy Doll Lip + Cheek Cream - Value $22

The first 2-in-1 item we have is a lip and cheek cream from Candy Doll. $22 seems like a really high value for this but it was difficult to track down online!

I was a little skeptical of the consistency when I first opened the package but I found this to be really creamy. The baby pink color isn't something I typically wear as a blush but this turned out to be really blendable. I think this would be a nice on the go product when I just want a little bit of color without too much effort.

I did the top swatch with a lip brush which gave me nice pigmentation. The product applied like a cream but dried with a slightly powdery finish so this isn't the longest lasting lip product but it is compact enough to carry around for quick touchups. I was surprised that I liked this more as a cheek product. The bottom swatch was done with my finger and it created a lighter, more natural color. The powdery finish on my cheek made it easy to blend out with my other face products.

Makeup Block Beauty Tools - Value $5?

I guess this product is technically more of a 3-in-1 tool and I think it's so cool! My value estimate is a guess because I wasn't able to find this anywhere online.

This four piece makeup tool contains an eyebrow brush, spoolie brush, lip brush, and a cap. This is such a cute idea for a travel tool. The lip and eyebrow brushes are both really soft.

You can stack all three products together to save some room in your makeup bag. I like that the brushes are interchangeable to you can just take one or two if you prefer.

Country & Stream Honey UV Water Gel - Value $18.90

I was happy to see some sun protection in this box! This gel is definitely more watery than other products I've used for sun protection. I smell the honey a little but I mostly get the lemon scent from this gel. This contains collagen, hyaluronic acids, and a variety of extracts that are supposed to provide moisture to your skin. I really like the scent and the product absorbed into my skin quickly, leaving a silky sheen. I haven't put this to the test with a full day in the sun (I may stick to SPF 50 for those days) but this has been a really nice daily sun protectant.

Angel Recipe All In One Essence - Value $17.69 USD

In a perfect world, I follow a long and prosperous skin regiment. In the real world, I'm always in a rush and don't have a ton of time for multiple products so an all in one essence sounds good to me! This essence contains raw collagen to help rejuvenate your skin. It's also supposed to help brighten your skin through vitamin c and even your skin tone with arbutin. The gel is thick and cooling on my skin. I didn't notice any brightening effect after only a couple uses but I my skin did feel hydrated and extra smooth. It absorbed into my skin quickly and I only needed about a pump and a half for my whole face so this bottle should last me a while!

Lumi Deco Nail Decal - Value $18

I like nail decals but I'm never great at applying them. I always do a couple accent nails and paint the rest of my nails so I can afford to mess up a couple applications. 😊

I really like the colors included in my nail decal pack and the one decal standing alone lights up! The light-up decal is activated by devices that emit nfc waves. That includes Android phones and quick pay scanners.

These instructions weren't the most useful to me but I did find this adorable video for the decals:

I actually really loved the plain nail decals but I had some trouble with the LED sticker. I had trouble getting that decal to stick and I didn't see it light up when I was handling my phone. I would love to know if anyone else successfully used this because I think it's super cute! This would be a really cool DIY too!

Verdict: I really enjoyed the “2-in-1 Beauty Products” box. The best value to me was the Angel Recipe Essence and the Country & Stream Water Gel. Those two products felt really nice on my skin and I can definitely add those to my daily routine. I really loved the nail decals and I wish the LED light had worked for me! I'll have to do more research to see if it's worth ordering more because I really want light up nails! The 3-in-1 tools is cute and useful as a travel item for me. The only product I probably would have passed on was the lip + cheek cream but I was pleasantly surprised by the application. It isn't a product or color I would normally pick out but it's been working for me.

Never received a June beauty box since we’re already on Julys NMNL! But it looks nice.
