Liz I just received my Sundae Home Founder’s box today. It’s great, looking forward to seeing your reviews.

I contacted them last week asking about how long the lock in price will be as I am closing on a house and didn’t get paid until this week. Amy replied within the hour wishing me a congratulations on my home purchase AND said that they had less than 100 boxes left and she’d hold one for me through this week.
–I emailed her today (they only have 2 people on their staff!) and she said they still have a few left and she recommended paying using PayPal. It sucks that it really isn’t $49.99 but $56.49 after shipping and tax. $53.99 after the 5% discount. I’m sure any hiccups come with being a new sub box. Seller name says “Sundae Home / Au Bon Cards” and their PayPal checkout looks different than any site I’ve bought from but the confirmation email I got was from Sundae Home.
–It kind of bothers me that there isn’t an account page on their site?

Did anyone else sign up and get an email that they’d just signed up for the Passport to Beauty Box by Shalini Vadhera?

https://box.shoppassportbeauty.com

I used paypal.

I used PayPal, just signed up, and it all went through perfectly- confirmation from Sundae Home right away. Did you also get a confirmation from them? I’m wondering whether the Passport to Beauty is unrelated- maybe a part of the LLB email list purchase?

I did not sign up for this but I am getting a ton of email from this Passport to Beauty I never signed up for and I am really annoyed.

I did!! I immediately blocked that email… checked my PayPal and credit cards!! Will keep a close eye on it!! Don’t like … 😳

That’s really odd. I didn’t get that email but I did get one that said the company that does their payments updated their server overnight and it canceled some subs, mine being one of them. It says if I resub prior to July 21 they will refund me the duplicate charge and if after July 21 they will prorate any difference between the boxes received and the payment received and refund any duplication in payment. I don’t understand what the second option means exactly and it doesn’t give a third option of not resubbing at all. I’m a bit wary of them now. Liz do you know anything on this?

Just to update…I emailed asking for a full refund and Amy had it back in my PayPal account within minutes so that’s a good indication of their customer service!

I decided to give it a try . I’m excited 😊 I didn’t have to use PayPal like people were saying below. I was able to use my credit card right on their site. My code was not working so I contacted customer service and they got right back to me. I really appreciate good customer service.

Yes, please review this box!

Dilemma, dilemma—-Turkish towel — I like the color, short tassle and price of sub box for Popsugar. I like the pattern, the excitement of a new sub box but not the price. I also searched for Zestt towels and they range between $70-$90. What to do? Probably wait too long and they will both be sold out. Ha

Love the idea of a new home box but the 2 concept boxes on their site were not at all my style. I love the spoiler for August though!

Julie

I didn’t care for the concept boxes either. I am thinking for the same price as third and main I might pass because I can’t do both. I am also interested in trying new boxes and I like the spoiler. I might get pulled in for a least one month .

Jrm

Yes a home box, excited to see their 1st box 😍 I jumped on it 👍

I’m excited to see a new home box and the spoiler looks nice a good value for the box. I use paypal all the time and have never had a problem! I am looking forward to getting my first box!

I won’t subscribe if a company only uses PayPal.

Even though the spoiler is good value. It’s boring. I ‘ve gotten so many round towels this year I have not used. I don’t want another one.

Hope future boxes are more creative. Also hope that their are no candles in this box. Another thing that is in to many boxes.

I do wish this box company luck. Yet I m so hoping it’s different then the popsugar boxes. So far it looks the same with the spoiler

Why wouldn’t you want to use Paypal? It’s the easiest possible cancellation in the event you don’t like the box and the company is giving you the run-around about cancelling.

If this had been a quarterly box, I would have pulled the trigger but I do not want to spend $50 a month on another box…I have enough boxes already!

MSA is a dangerous site for one’s bank account…. 🙂 Spoiler done me in again…. !!! …. Looks good…

It looks intriguing…the blanket is gorgeous! I’ve been looking for more home type boxes as I’m overrun with dry shampoo, highlighter, & sample makeup! HOWEVER–I personally do not like to use Paypal…and I’m not sure about how viable a company is if they can ONLY accept Paypal. For crying out loud–even Squareup would allow them to take debit/credit cards online. We had a VERY bad experience with Paypal–they took over $12k from our account and held it for over 60 days. Eventually it was returned and that has been a while however I don’t feel like giving them access to my banking account..at least with my bank I can deal face to face if there is an issue or money is taken from my account.

I wrote customer service..asking about paying with debit or cc..hopefully they offer an option.

Square has some of the highest fees out there. And I use a credit card with Paypal. It gives me both the PP protection and the protection from the credit card company.

My PayPal has one of my credit cards on file, nothing else. Never had my bank account information on there…

Eek I subscribed, month-to-month. Good to know, they take PayPal. It feels like quite a gamble but the first box is usually the best so I’m rolling the dice!

Could this be reviewed, please?
