GlobeIn offers two Artisan Box themes you can pick from! The first revealed theme for the upcoming GlobeIn August 2017 Box is… Accent!

Dear Friends,

We hope you have fun placing the items in this kit around your home, finding that special spot for each one where it can set off the items around it. See just how far a few choice pieces can go in accenting the tone of a room.

These items are small, yet speak volumes. Wrought with ancient technique from the earth’s most elemental materials, wood and bone. Sustainably sourced, your new pieces encapsulate the history of India, fusing ancient beginnings with a thriving present.

Box, candle holder, coasters, tray—this collection is a matching set, so consider placing the items in proximity, allowing their material and design to echo each other from across the room.

What do you think of the spoiler theme for August?

Why aren’t baskets included anymore?

I’ve been wondering the same thing – not that I really need anymore baskets… but I did really like it when you could have an alternative item instead of a basket every month

**sigh** Looks like another ‘skip’ month…..

Last month they didn’t even do a second theme…just a repeat box.

I’m worried about this sub. Their changes aren’t good ones/signs. It was my favorite for a while, but I just don’t see how it will be sustainable at this price point and I get why they need to price it this high. But $50 a month is a lot of money for tschotcke.

I agree. I was told that they ‘had’ to raise their prices to help more artisans around the world. Not sure I buy that. I have the feeling they just wanted more to keep for themselves; I seriously doubt that the artisans will see their income increase equal to the increased price to subscribers. I decided not to resubscribe. Saw on one blog where a woman suggested Global Girlfriend, Ten Thousand Villages, and Branded Collective. I’ve looked at all 3 sites and find them very interesting…no doubt I will be purchasing from all 3. Like the other woman said, I can easily purchase items I really want for $50/month.

Has anyone noticed that the website has reverted back to old pricing? There’s an asterisk underneath that says something like ‘$10 shipping after the first month.’ But I love those old prices so much better!

But that still makes it $50/month. It’s just worded differently.

True, but it’s still $5 cheaper than their original price hike. I don’t know, I hope they stay around because I have two more boxes on my subscription to get but they never have the box in stock that I want…please get the Dine Box back in stock!
