The sad countdown begins to the last Messy Box! July’s box is the second-to-last, as August will be the final one. The good news: they have a new box called Oui Fresh up their sleeves!

Set of 4 Scrapbooking Sheets (9″ x 12″)

July’s theme is all about Carpe’ing That Diem! These for sheets can be used for almost anything. I love the ice cream!

Set of 4 Large Journal Cards (4″ x 6″)

There’s nothing more summery than ice cream, and roller skates make me feel like a kid again. I’m loving all the bright colors, per usual in Messy Box!

Set of 8 Small Journal Cards (3″ x 4″)

I feel like these cards are really begging you to make the most of the time you have! July makes me think of traveling, and visiting friends, and getting outside more than usual!

Set of 12 Square Journal Cards (3″ x 3″)

These cards scream positivety with their bold colors and summer essentials illustrations.

Messy Box also throws in some extras to take your scrapbooking game to the next level.

Ice Cream Pen!!

THIS PEN IS SO DARNED CUTE OMG! I eat ice cream A LOT. I could never in a million years eat a cone with 4 scoops, but this pen is so great! The best part is that it actually writes really nicely, which most novelty pens do not. WIN!

3×4 Ampersand  Transparency Card

I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea what to do with this. I thought it was a sticker or a window cling, but it’s a clear plastic card with an ampersand on it. Help! Let me know in the comments how you would use this!

2 “Carpe That Diem” Stickers

These stickers are a cute sassy version of the old latin aphorism “Carpe Diem”, meaning to “seize the day”. I always think of the scene in Clueless where Cher says “Carpe Diem, Ok? You looked hot in it!” to Christian when he’s unsure about the leather jacket purchase he just made.

4 Printed Tags

Immediately, I think I’d use these as gift tags, though I’m sure there are more scrapbook-y things to do with them too!

4 Alphabet Sticker Sheets

I love love love letter stickers to decorate a greeting card or a gift with. This light teal color is awesome and I like that they’ve included 2 of each sheet.

Verdict: This Messy Box was as awesome as always, with great illustrated journalling cards. My favorite items were the extras though, that ice cream pen being the BEST! You know I like to keep my sticker game strong, so I’m stoked to stick letters all over and at least one of those “Carpe That Diem” on a notebook or water bottle. The $24.99 is always worth it to me for all that goodness in a single box!

  1. No closeout sale coupon code for messy box?

  2. No closeout sale coupon code for messy box? 🙁

  3. The 3 x 4 Ampersand card would look fab in a pocket with sequins or stars added. The pocket would have to be glued or sealed closed.
