The Large Kawaii & Beauty WOWBOX usually contains 10-14 items. There are 10 snacks this month (counting the same Pikachu snack x4), and then 4 beauty products.

Descriptions, nutrition facts, and allergy information can be found online in the account information section.

Pokemon Bakauke (Corn Potage) x4 - Total Value $5.12

These Pikachu snacks are so unique and wonderful! You open the bag to find what looks like puffed steak fries, and then you chomp down to discover the mixture of flavors unlike any other. It's a salty snack, but the corn flavor is sweet! I normally dislike sweets-n-savories commingling, and yet I am drawn to these. Luckily, four packs are included, all attached to one another, so I can space the deliciousness out.

Saya Endo (Light Salt) - Value $2.93

I love these cripsy light pea pod snacks! I haven't had this brand, but have had others and they're just so easy to keep eating as time flies by. I'm pleased with the seemingly full-size bag that they've included!

Dole Kiwi Gelee & Yogurt Gummy

I was not expecting to see the brand Dole in this box, but they are apparently in the gummy game in Japan. It's really hard to go wrong with a kiwi gummy in my eyes, and these are yogurt-y as well, so it's a win-win. Great juicy kiwi flavor over here! On another pleasing note: this pouch is resealable to keep your gummies fresh!

Fuwarinka (Mix Berry Rose)

OH MY GOOD GOD. These are heavenly! As the WOWBOX website says, these are super fragrant, and they are not kidding. It really adds to the powerful berry flavor that explodes on your tongue. I think I'm smelling rose through my mouth, and although that doesn't sound pleasant, it really is. These have a paper thin hard candy exterior, but then are soft and chewy on the inside (almost like a skittle). I'm freaked out by how much I like these perfumey candies. Also: resealable pack!

Kamu Aroma Lime & Bergamot

Mmm- citrus is perfect for summer and these chewy candies are really flavorful and sort of refreshing. I've been seeing bergamot used a lot lately in scents, and these, like the last berry candy, are very fragrant as well.

Caplico No Atama - Value $2.50

I normally don't like strawberry flavored dairy things, like ice cream or yogurt, but these are actually pretty good. They're half chocolate, half strawberry, and you can taste both pretty equally. I like how they are packed in a tray so they didn't all melt together in summer transit.

Yasai Seikatsu Peel&Herb (Lime Mint Mix) - Value $3.06

I haven't had a juice box in ages, so this is a treat for me. The flavor included is "Peels & Herb" which is a lime mint mix. I love both of those things, so I am sip sip sipping away. It's pretty tart because of the lime, but I got used to it pretty quick and am enjoying it. It's quite refreshing and I can't help but think it'd be even better with some vodka in it. I know, I know. I need to just enjoy it as is.

Yuzu ga minoru bokuno mura (Bath Tea Bag)

This is a tea bag for your bath "that contains bath salt, natural essential oil, herb and Natural plant-derived moisturizer all one". It smelled really nice when I opened it, and I got a kick out of picturing myself relaxing in a giant cup of tea, since you keep it in the pouch. Sadly, when it steeped in hot water, the fragrance wasn't as soothing as lemon zinger tea. It does turn the water bright yellow, so be ready to soak in it.

Bath Drop in Citrus

When I was a kid, maybe elementary school age, I was really into bath oil balls. I'm not sure why a child would need to take a relaxing bath to escape the perils of being 9 yrs old, but I think I just liked popping them and squeezing the oil out. This little bath oil ball brings me back, and I found it quite enjoyable. The warm water eventually dissolves the thin plastic-y ball to release what becomes a milky, lovely smelling bath. It contains Squalane and Jojoba oil which left my skin silky and smooth.

Foamed Bath Tablet Awa Awa Yuzu

This looks like a giant alka seltzer tablet and does roughly the same thing when it hits the water: fizzes. I wanted this to smells super citrus-like, but it kinda smelled like fake chemical lemon. It turns the water a really pigmented yellow (like the tea bag), and although it did seem to soften my skin, it also left a yellow cast on my skin as well, which luckily came right off upon washing.

Citrus Mini Bath Ball

The mini citrus bath ball is almost identical to the above bath tablet, minus the yellow dye, and of course the shape. It fizzes, has a not-so-pleasant scent, but the water stays clear. It also must have some sort of moisturizing component because my skin was also soft afterward.

Verdict: I'm glad that this month's WOWBOX contained some really cool bath items, even if they didn't all whisk me away to a gentle warm-water oasis. Even though this box is supposed to be "Kawaii and Beauty", it seems to usually just be snacks in previous months. I liked almost all of the snacks in this box, and they included equal parts salty and sweet. I feel like WOWBOX is falling somewhere between the super sugary kawaii snack boxes and the higher end pastry/cookie type Japanese snack boxes. Not all of the items were readily available online, which always entices me, but makes it hard to know if you're getting enough bang for your buck. I'm going to say the value of the bath set is around $15, which would bring the total up to just under $30, using the other prices I could find. There were 3 things I couldn't price, so they'd have to be worth $5/each for this cost to even out.
