I don’t know if people on a subscription box review site are in a position to throw stones about what is or is not a waste of money. Our houses are all made of glass, y’all.

You have to spend $1,000 per year at Sephora to be able to buy this? Crazy!!

For me it’s not just spending money on myself, but gift cards/gifts that I buy for people and I receive a lot of Sephora gift cards for my birthday and at Christmas, then the $120 a year I spend on the Play box counts towards it. For me it it looks more like $35 a month as opposed to $83 a month and I think part of me making it for the year was splurging on higher end items like Drunk Elephant.

Definitely. And you get one real reward during the year, 20% off around beginning of November as opposed to 15% for VIB. It used to be the highest tier was $500 a year. Whenever they started that, every year until this year I’d been the highest tier, Rouge the entire time they had it and I realized WHY DO I NEED THIS MUCH A YEAR it’s ridiculous. My sister and I even just shared my account and two women who already have a decent amount of makeup and skincare don’t even need to be spending $1,000. Not to get an extra 5% off and the access to little things like this.

I’m Rouge but I get that way by only buying during 3x and 5x points events. It’s really 1,000 points not dollars.
