Honest Company Diapers & Wipes Bundle Review - June 2017 - Full review

Honest Company Diaper Bundles are always huge, since they have enough (or more than enough) for a month! Here's what I got in my June delivery.

If you're not familiar with this subscription, here are the basics: You always get 6 packs of diapers and 4 packs of wipes each month. For the diapers, you can select your favorite patterns, and Honest will randomly pick for you depending on what's available. You can swap in Overnight Diapers or Pull-Up style diapers for any of the 6 packs. You can even change the size on just some of the diapers, and you can also add on extra products for a 25% discount. (Plus, they occasionally have subscriber perks, like free items you can add on!)

Honest Company Diapers & Wipes Bundle Review - June 2017 - Overnight Diapers

1 Pack of Honest Overnight Diapers, Size 6 - Regularly $13.95/pack ($0.63/diaper), save 22% with subscription

I ran out of these last month and had to supplement with a pack of Pampers Baby Dry. The Pampers were definitely softer feeling against the skin, but they had the same success/failure rate as Honest Co for keeping overnight leaks at bay. So for the sake of convenience, Honest's Overnights are currently winning out!

Summer prints are here! I'm always happy to open this box and find some bright new colors and patterns. I think the Pineapple print is my personal favorite, but they're all cute. They have some really lovely floral patterns, too.

As usual, I find these diapers perform well for us! We've had a couple long days playing outside where we are definitely way overdue for a diaper change, but we never have issues with leaking.

The big plus with this subscription is I always know that when I'm about to run out, more are on the way. We don't live super close to a Target anymore, so I hate running out to buy diapers at the store.

4 pack of Honest Wipes – $18.95 ($4.95 individually)

Looks like Honest's supply chain issues with their wipes have been resolved! I didn't notice any difference between these wipes and previous packages. These really are my favorite baby wipes, and I've always found them to be gentle on my son's skin. We use them for quick clean-ups at the playground, too, now that it's summer and we're outside all the time. (My son loves to play in the dirt, and having wipes nearby to do a quick wipe-down before we come back inside really helps keep mud and dirt off the floor!)

I also selected an add-on product this month:

Honest Company Diapers & Wipes Bundle Review - June 2017 - Dryer Sheets Honest Company Diapers & Wipes Bundle Review - June 2017 - Dryer Sheets

Honest Dryer Cloths, 32 Sheets – $6.95 ($5.21 with the add-on discount when you subscribe)

I'm used to using dry dryer sheets with our laundry, so I was surprised to see these are wet and have a bit of an odd smell when you pull them out. I'm happy to report there was no smell once our laundry was finished drying! This package is super tiny, but each sheet can be used twice. They are a little expensive, but if you're avoiding certain additives and fragrance it may be worth it for you. It's also worth noting these are manufactured in the U.S.

Verdict: After having two issues with our delivery last month, everything was as I expected with this bundle. Honest's prints are always adorable and make me smile, but the real value for me is with the time savings in subscribing and knowing these products are free of certain additives that I'd rather avoid if possible. I've really liked all of the diapering add-on products too; we use the Healing Balm regularly, and it's something I always recommend to new parents.

I am an Honest subscription customer as well. If you can, let me know if you notice any difference in the smell of the wipes. The wipes I’ve received in the bundle after the recall seem to smell different. I called them and talked to them about it. They sent replacements and a label for me to send the suspicious ones back. The replacements smell better but different than before, and they added an ingredient. They also have different packaging. They have the sticker you have to pull back instead of the flip top, which is a draw back in my opinion. I’m a little bummed because I love their diapers and wipes. I don’t want the packaging to stay that way.

I just noticed this comment as I was about to write a new review! I didn’t notice any difference in the smell, but the label thing was super annoying. Thankfully that only lasted a month.
