I have not received a loot crate as yet but have been charged twice, once on 7/3 and once again on 7/11. I called the phone number and it is just a message machine. Would like to talk to a human not a machine.

This is also my first box. I bought it for my husband for father’s day and he loved it. The shirt was go quality and the corn hole board was heavy duty and not cheaply made. He won’t even open the possible figure….and the Kershaw card is being placed with his other Dodger stuff. He is one happy Dad!

I sincerely hope that this month’s box exceeds the quality of items that were received in last month’s box (a feat that shouldn’t be all that hard, considering the bar was set pretty low to begin with, imo). Aside from the pitcher figure, everything felt extremely cheap and as though it was curated to be handed out as a gift bag at the end of a kid’s birthday party as a way of saying “thanks for coming,” not a $40 paid subscription box. I am not one that typically complains – in fact, I hate seeing all the complaining and negativity that goes on in the comment sections of MSA, month after month, and how no one is ever satisfied (one month it’s “I am so sick of ‘xyz,’ we never get ‘abc’ anymore,” the next month it’s “if they’re going to send out ‘abc,’ the least they could do is pick out neutral friendly shades…” It’s never ending) and I feel like people have come to expect WAY too much when it comes to a $10, $20 beauty bag/box. That being said, the cost of this box is $40 a month…I would expect, then, to have more value in a 4-7 item box that’s associated with the MLB and MLB merchandise than I do in a 4-5 item beauty box that’s costing me $21 a month, and who, often times, has “no-name” brands mixed in with mostly newer ones. At the very least, I most definitely expect the quality of items in the box to equal or match the quality of items that are depicted in the advertisement that they use to first lure you into subscribing to Sports Crate to begin with. Unfortunately, that just was not the case, at all. I am hoping that this is simply a matter of “1st box growing pains” and that going forward, each month continues to get better and better with the more people that subscribe. I will give it a couple more months to see if there’s any growth, but, if for some reason there isn’t any, it’s 1, 2, 3 strikes – “you’re out!” and this will definitely be a one season “career” for me signed on with Sports Crate.
