June’s theme is “Girls Night In.” And this info card details each of the brushes included:
Now, on to the brushes!
Morphe M444 – Value $13
This domed buffer brush is SO densely packed! It has super soft bristles like all Morphe brushes, and it was perfect for applying liquid foundation – absolutely no brush marks. (You can also use this with powder products, and for smoothing out any areas where you might have over-applied makeup.)
Morphe M460 – Value $10
Another densely packed brush that is perfect for contouring. Angle it so you’re using the thin side to draw your contour lines, then blend!
Morphe M496 – Value $3
This is the one brush in the box that gave me some homework! What is a lash fan brush? Turns out, you can use this to apply mascara, or to assist with gluing in eyelash extensions. If you are going for a more subtle, natural look, you can coat this brush with some mascara to get both your upper and lower lashes some length and color. (Check out this tutorial from Byrdie, too.)
Morphe M518 – Value $6
This is a classic, fluffy eyeshadow brush for the crease. It works well to blend, and the bristles are nice and soft!
Verdict: This is my first MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club box and I’m a fan! I received $32 worth of makeup brushes for $20, and I’m very impressed with the quality of brushes. Plus, I can always use a new foundation brush, (and you don’t get those often in other subscription boxes.)
