JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices on everything in their store. On the first of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Boutique’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how ShoeDazzle, Fabletics and AdoreMe work.

A-Line Dress in Black – VIP Price $39.95 (retail price $56.95)

There were so many great outfits and styles in my Showroom this month, and at first, I was drawn to the blue and white striped version of this dress. However, I decided to play it safer and order the black colorway since I knew I’d get more wear out of it. And boy, am I glad I picked it- this 55% linen/45% rayon tented dress is perfect for summer! The fabric feels nice on and I like that the black colorway has a slightly faded look to it. During the day, I’m planning to wear this with booties and a patterned neck scarf.

I ordered my normal size and it fits true to size. The top half is nicely fitted and just below the chest, the dress A-lines, hitting a couple inches above my knee. The dress’ length looks rather short on the JustFab model, so I am ecstatic to be able to wear this comfortably out and about. It’s roomy, easy and versatile.

Pockets in dresses are the best! I also like the frayed hem. It’s not stitched, but I  don’t feel like the fraying is going to get larger and out of control.

Yes, the back is not at all bra strap-friendly, but it’s such an interesting cut and I own nothing else like it. The zipper and contruction is good quality, so no complaints about the minimal fabric supporting my upper back.

At night, I’ll switch to my JustFab platforms and cover up with the Summer Box of Style Kimono (thanks for letting me borrow it, Liz)!

Verdict: Each month, I am excited to see the new arrivals from JustFab! And I am super happy with this month’s pick! For $39.95 (including free shipping), I received a perfect summer dress that retails for $56.95 – a pretty good deal. Compared to other clothing boxes like Stitch Fix and Trunk Club, I am finding that despite the higher upfront out-of-pocket expense, I prefer to choose my items each month and find there’s less risk with this subscription model.

What did you choose this month from JustFab?
