The steeping instructions on each pouch are the best. I love that they included some addition brewing tips.

Vanilla Apricot - Black Tea

Field to Cup creates a lot of delicious black teas, so I was excited to see two of them in this month's box! This black tea blend contains some apricot, vanilla bean, papaya, peach, and blackberry leaves. The addition of fruit creates the perfect amount of sweetness. I love to use these types of blends to replace my morning coffee, because I never have to add anything to them ,and they're high up on the caffeine scale!

Island Breeze - Fruit Tea

I love beautiful blends like these! This has huge chunks of cherries, cranberries, apples, kiwis, and coconut flakes. The super fruity scent that came out of the pouch reminded me a bit of a fruit cocktail (without being sickly sweet). When you have whole chunks of ingredients like this, the brew time is a bit longer. The suggestion for this blend was 5 minutes, but I went for about 7. This was a perfect dessert tea! The sweetness feels decadent, and it has no caffeine! I ended up fishing out the cherry chunks to eat while I was drinking this, and the whole experience was just delicious! This is the kind of blend I never think to buy for myself, and I'm so happy it was included in this box!

Summertime Grey - Black Tea

The second black tea of the box was a slight twist on a classic Earl Grey blend. This Summertime Grey includes white tea alongside the standard black tea and bergamot. I've love Field to Cup's Earl Grey blends, and this was no exception. It tasted very similar to a regular Earl Grey, but the white tea made it just a little lighter. This makes the black tea and citrus flavor mild enough for a nice summer tea break. This was great as a hot brew, but would be amazing iced, as well.

Apple on a Stick - White Tea

Opening this pouch was like walking into a carnival. It smelled so sweet and sugary! The green apple scent is strong, but the coconut and lemongrass cut through it really well. This has the shortest brew time at two minutes and resulted in a really smooth blend. White tea is very mild and subtle, so the slight sharpness of the green apple works well with it.

Verdict: Tea Explorer is a really fun way to test out Field to Cup tea. I've been a fan of their Discovery Plus subscription for a while, and this gives you a perfect little sample of those teas. You can always count on Field to Cup to give you a nice variety, and even with only four teas, this box delivered. I think my favorite sample was Island Breeze, because it was just so summery and refreshing!

The teas from this company are delicious! So much better than I’ve gotten from a popular tea company at the mall! The user account section of the website does take a bit of patience to navigate, but communication with the company is amazing!

When is June Tea Explore shipping? Good tea, not enough communication.

Yay, email issues were the root of communication and that has been fixed. I really liked the Jackfruit tea last month (my mom’s vote was the lemon peppermint one), and I am really looking forward to trying this month’s teas 🙂 Friendly customer service.

I love this subscription, but a head’s up.

I’m concerned that they haven’t updated the site to include the June steeping guide, and they don’t have this month’s teas listed for sale at the discount they offer for subscribers. The month is running out and it looks like we won’t be able to purchase any of the teas at the discounted price they offer for subscribers. If you are a subscriber this will make sense :).

I’ve contacted them last week on Instagram and via email to see when they are updating their site, but I haven’t heard back. To be safe I’m putting this one on hold until they come around, I’ve had too many subs up and die on me to trust em wholeheartedly.

Hi Miranda, thanks for your feedback. We are so sorry for not updating you earlier after you contacted us.

Quite honestly, we’ve hit a bit of growth these past few weeks that prevented us from updating the site properly. Our apologies!

I’ll have someone contact you tomorrow regarding a solution for you to enjoy the June teas at the discounted rate.

Sorry for the disappointment, we’re still here, and plan to grow and improve our service!

Thanks for being a wonderful customer, and we look forward to hearing more of your feedback in the future!
