The theme of this month's box is "Save My Skin!" and has a concentration of restorative masks to help any sort of problems your skin may be having.

Facetory is great at providing a lot of information about each of the seven masks. Sometimes the packaging has some English, sometimes not, so this is really helpful! Before we get into the masks, I also want to give a little praise to them for the amazing packaging! The box is super duper cute and the illustrations on the info cards are just so cool! I loved the striped tissue paper and sticker too! Ok- let's get started!

Belborn 5 Minutes Mask - Listed Value $3.50

Like all of the masks, this one had quite a bit of excess product in the package, as well as on my face, once I took this off. The directions always urge you to rub in the excess to your skin, but there was just SO MUCH, that I ended up blotting some up with a tissue. The mask felt nice on my face, had a pleasant smell, and once I got the right amount absorbed, my skin felt ultra-soft. Since most masks call for 15-20 minutes, this one is great to only need five!

Bad Skin Quick Repairing S.O.S. Super Mask - Listed Value $3.50

I enlisted my friend Nicole to help me, and since she has a bit of skin trouble, she chose to try this quick repairing mask. Similarly to how I felt about the above mask, she estimated that there was "2 masks worth" of product on this one. She thought the mask smelled a bit like hand sanitizer instead of anything really pleasant. After taking it off, she noticed her skin felt a lot more hydrated and dewy, but wasn't so sure it repaired any of her bad skin.

Faith in Face I Need S.O.S. Mask - Listed Value $2.50

This mask is also one that you have to peel the plastic stuck to it before applying. I found this mask to be especially thin, which was a good thing because it stuck to my face really well. Many masks don't fit quite right and leave a lot of extra cloth, or it's hard to get stuck around the bridge of my nose, but this one is great! The package boasts to even out blotchiness, illuminate, and moisturize, and says it contains niacinamide which is a skin-restoring ingredient that is supposed to visibly improve the appearance of enlarged pores, fine lines, and weakened skin surfaces. I will say I have a few wrinkles, and recently got over a cold that left the skin around my nose a little rough. My skin felt a bit tighter afterward, and of course was super moisturized.

Jay Jun Multi-Vita Tone Up Mask - Value $2.30

Coming in a pill bottle shaped package, you can tell that this one is here to help. I wore this at night which seemed to be the right thing to do since it's supposed to tone, calm, and provide nutrients to my skin. It's also supposed to help skin types that have become dry and dull from the environment. I can see this one being good in the winter, for that reason. Though these transitional seasons have my skin simultaneously sweaty and dry. This one also left my face a bit sticky, but after a rinse, I felt refreshed.

The Oozoo Power Capsule Lightening Mask - Listed Value $5.50

This mask excited me when I saw it because I've never used a mask that made me pop a capsule to release the essence onto the enclosed mask. That, of course, delighted me, because it made me feel like I had a part in making the magic happen.

I am very lucky to have always had great skin that rarely breaks out, but unfortunately, the morning after using this mask I got a pimple on my chin! Ack! Nothing else from my beauty routine changed, so this mask has to be the culprit. The info card says the capsule contains olive oil and grapeseed oil extracts that "work to moisturize dry and rough skin", so maybe this just wasn't the right mask for me. 🙁

Leaders Violet Energy Coconut Bio Mask with Blueberry - Listed Value $3.50

I know blueberries are supposed to be great for skin since they are rich in antioxidants, and are also supposed to be good to color correct any unbalanced skin tones. Sadly, even with the coconut, this one didn't have a pleasing smell that I was hoping for. Some masks also have a plastic sheet stuck to the actual mask that you have to peel apart before using, and this was one of them. No big changes after this one except the usual soft, hydrated skin.

Skintalk Dr. Oola V-Tok Mask - Listed Value $5.00

Here's another fun one that you get to help assemble. There are two packs connected, one containing the mask, and the other containing the essence. You must peel back the sticker on the mask side to reveal a slit in the package in which to pour the other packet into. Then you must squish it around to make sure the mask is fully coated. Once moist, you can cut open the mask side and apply to your face. I have to say that this was probably the seemingly highest quality mask and my favorite. The cloth was a bit more sturdy than the average mask and had pale yellow "vitamin c dots" on it. It stuck to my face really well (some slide around which can get annoying) too. The info card said I may feel tingly from the vitamin c dots, but I did not. Usually, the mask directions tell you to not rinse your face afterward, but this one left me feeling a bit sticky. Once I gave my face a rinse though, it felt super supple.

Verdict: I think Facetory is a killer deal when you consider how much each of these masks is (total: $25.80 retail). It's a great way to discover new sheet masks for those of us who love them but are tired of the same old ones at Sephora. If you only do a mask twice a week, like the average person, these would last you into your fourth until your next box arrives. Alternately, I think this would make a really fun ladies night in activity. I had a lot of fun exploring these, except for that pesky capsule mask! Overall, I'm not sure I can pick up on all of the advantages the different masks offer, but my skin always feels nice afterward and I get a kick out of how creepy I look each time.
