I really enjoyed my previous Ecocentric Mom Mystery Box, so I was excited to dig into this one!

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Probiotic Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Probiotic

Hyperbiotics PRO-Women, 30 capsules - $21.80 on Amazon ($22.95 retail)

Perfect timing: I received these in my last mystery box too, and I've almost run out. I've been taking these off and on, and I do actually feel like my gut is a bit slimmer and my digestion is somewhat improved when I remember to take them daily. This is the only brand of probiotic I've ever tried, so I can't speak to how they are in comparison to others, but I see enough of a result that I plan to keep these as part of my wellness routine.

This brand is vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, yeast-free, and are also free of soy, nuts, wheat, preservatives, sugars, and artificial colors/flavors.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Manna Kadar

Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain in Rosette - Value $24

I also received this same Manna Kadar lip stain in my last mystery box, so I might pass this one on to a friend. I do love this formula though; it wears well and has a lot of staying power! It's nice to add a subtle bit of color but still within my neutral comfort zone:

ecocentric-mom-february-2017-mystery-box-swatch

Looking at this again, I feel like I really need to wear this more. So pretty!

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Lip Balm & Hand Cream Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Lip Balm & Hand Cream

Brigit True Bodycare Rose Hand Cream, 0.25 oz sample - Value $2.19

This little pot of hand lotion is made with rosewater, calendula infused olive oil, shea butter, and lots more. I received this same pot in the last mystery box and used every single drop! It was so hydrating and perfect for winter hands at the time.

American Provenance National Lip Balm, Cardamom - Value $3

American Provence is turning into one my favorite eco-friendly brands; this cardamom lip balm is no exception. Cardamom is an unusual spice for a lip balm and this formula is definitely a wee bit spicy, so I think this product might be hit-or-miss depending on how adventurous you are– but I personally love it!

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Dr Brite Mouth Rinse Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Dr Brite Mouth Rinse

Dr Brite Cleansing Mouth Rinse with Vitamin C, 3.4 fl oz Travel Size – Value $6

Yes! I was so happy to get more of this because I haven't been able to find it to buy anywhere locally; I may have the bite the bullet this time and buy the full size online. As someone with sensitive gums who despises Listerine, I've found this product to be both gentle and effective. (It does seem to be helping with the coffee stains on my teeth too.)

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Laundry Stick Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Laundry Stick

Meliora Laundry Stain Removal Soap Stick, 1.7 oz Full Size – Value $2.49

This is a laundry stain stick about the size of your standard glue stick! Just wet and apply directly to stains. Definitely, a product to keep in your laundry room, unlike those Tide pens, but still really useful.

I just got this in the most recent Ecocentric Mom & Baby box and honestly, haven't had a chance to use it yet. But, being that it is grass stain season and we spend a ton of time outside, I'm happy to have more.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Facial Rounds Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Facial Rounds Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Facial Rounds

Marley's Monsters Washable Facial Rounds, set of 4 - Value $2.80 (Buy 20 for $14)

These little reversible fabric squares are so cute! These will be perfect for removing eye makeup instead of using a cotton ball. I like to curb waste when I can, but I probably wouldn't have thought about using a product like this on my own. They're really soft, too!

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Bug Protectant

Bug Protector All Natural Deet Free Bug Repellent, 2 oz - Retail $3.49

I am in desperate need of mosquito repellent, so I was probably most excited about this little spray bottle! This uses lemongrass, geranium, peppermint, and cinnamon oils to help keep the bugs at bay. It's made in the USA and is pet safe, too.

We tried this one night sitting out on our front porch at dusk, which is normally mosquito city. It definitely helped keep the vast majority of them at bay. And, I loved the scent! You can definitely smell the cinnamon and peppermint in there, but the geranium and lemongrass were at the forefront and it was all-around lovely.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - MadeGood Granola Snacks Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - MadeGood Granola Snacks

MadeGood Strawberry Granola Minis, 0.85 oz. - Value $0.73 (Buy a case of 24 pouches on Healthy Snack Solutions for $17.64)

Made Good Mixed Berry Granola Bar, 0.85 oz. - Value $0.62 – (Buy a case of 36 on Healthy Snack Solutions for $22.50)

I have gotten some samples from this brand in a few other boxes. Other than that pesky Chocolate Banana flavor, I have loved them all! I love that they are gluten- and peanut-free, and contain vegetables (you'd seriously never know, they are delicious!). My toddler loves granola bars so I'm saving these for him as a special treat.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - YumEarth Organic Sour Tists Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Yum Earth Packaging Reverse

Yum Earth Organic Sour Twists, 0.7 oz - Value $0.65 (buy 6, 7 oz. bags for $38.94)

I also received this sample size in a past box. They were good, but a little melted from the summer heat. This brand does use non-GMO and organic ingredients, although these are still packed full of sugar so they're more of a candy than a natural fruit snack.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Essential Wipes

Essential Wipes Travel Tube - Value $5 (Buy 3 for $14.99 from Essential Wipes)

This is a tube of 10 8" x 10" single-use wipes. You're supposed to add water and shake before using. I haven't tried these yet because I think they will be perfect for stowing in my bag for my upcoming vacation – it's so nice to have wipes for a quick, refreshing face scrub after a long flight. Being able to add water is such a cool idea because those little plastic packages of wipes *always* get dried out on me before I finish them.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Coconut Oil Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Coconut Oil

Kala Coconut Oil, 6.8 oz - Value $20

(I have a little bit of sticker shock on this item. There is a $20 retail value listed on Ecocentric Mom and I couldn't find this product elsewhere online. As a shopper who buys her coconut oil from Aldi or Trader Joe's, $20 for this size container of coconut oil is a little much, but it is worth noting this brand is raw, organic, fair-trade, non-GMO, and cold pressed.)

This is 100% unadulterated coconut oil in a tube. It was nicely packaged inside another plastic envelope and sealed with tape, so thankfully there was no leaking. In the summer heat we've been having, this is so liquid that it's actually difficult to use in this kind of container.

I'm not the hugest fan of coconut oil as a cosmetic on its own, but I sometimes use it to help moisturize my hair in the shower. I find I need to lightly wash and recondition after applying, or else my fine hair is too greasy.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - SOS Salve Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - SOS Salve

Previse Skin Ointment Salve, 1.5 fl oz – Value $37

This is a big pot of skin salve! This product is a petroleum jelly replacement and has a similar but slightly 'goopier' consistency. I have incredibly dry skin on my knees lately so I've been using this after the shower, and it's definitely helping.

(I already have this from a past box in a squeeze tube, which I prefer to the tub, but to each their own!)

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Fiji Lotion Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Fiji Lotion

Organic Fiji Face & Body Lotion, Fragrance-Free, 3 oz – Value $7.50

I previously received a Pina Colada lotion from this brand. I'm really sensitive to smell, so while I loved the lotion itself, it hasn't been getting much use. It's kind of like Ecocentric Mom read my mind because this product is just as effective with none of the overwhelming pineapple scent. Win!

This is made in the US from primarily coconut oil. There's definitely some kind of scent when you first apply it, but it quickly dissipates.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Deodorizer Minis Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Deodorizer Minis

Ever Bamboo Mini Travel Trio Deodorizers - Value $9.99

This is another great product I'm saving for my vacation: mini charcoal deodorizers! These little things are great for sneakers, gym bags, etc. I'm planning on using one in my backpack during my trip, and the other two are perfect for my hiking boots!

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Snack Sack Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Snack Sack Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Snack Sack

“Snack Happens” Reusable Snack & Everything Bag from ItzyRitzy – Value $9.99

This is another product I've already received from Ecocentric Mom, but yet another one I am happy to get more of! These reusable fabric pouches are perfect for toting pretzels, crackers, and other mostly dry snacks. We've been getting good use out of ours and it's nice to have another in rotation.

For the car especially, I find my toddler is less likely to spill in this container for some reason, and it's much easier for him to reach into this instead of a plastic baggie.

Ecocentric Mom June 2017 Mystery Box Review - Cough Syrup Sample

Finally, we have a sample of cough syrup. Into the first aid kit stash, it goes! I do like the idea of this formula but thankfully we just haven't been sick to try it (knock on wood).

Verdict: Another fabulous Ecocentric Mom mystery box that was simply packed full of goodies! Although I've gotten 10 of these items in previous boxes, I am seriously happy about all of the repeats. I calculated $157.25 in value for this box, and the $49.99 price tag breaks down to just $3.15 per item (not including the cough syrup samples) This is a great way to try Ecocentric Mom if you've been interested in subscribing and haven't pulled the trigger yet.

This box looks great and has lots of useful products. I’m a mom but my boys are teenagers so I don’t think I’m in the “target audience” for this box but it still appeals to me. I just purchased this with the coupon code. My only question is…it looked like by purchasing it, I signed up for a subscription??? I don’t want to do that but if it happens I’ll just cancel later. Does anyone know about this?

I didn’t have that issue. I’ve bought “one of” boxes from them before and it hadn’t happened.

I’m not a mom but was interested in this mystery box when it was first announced. The review plus the coupon code just got me to bite. I could totally use everything in here and I’m excited to check out some of the items. Hopefully I get the same or a very similar variation.
