This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Candy Club May 2017

Candy Club is a candy subscription that sends 2-3 pounds of premier brand name candy to you each month. Each delivery contains 4 different types of candy which you can choose yourself or leave as a surprise.

You’ll receive 4 different types of candy each month. 3 will arrive in cups and the fourth will be loose candy in the box.

They no longer offer the option of selecting sweets, sours, or sweets + sours – instead, you’ll take a short quiz to decide what types of candies you’d like to receive each month.

Albanese Milk Chocolate Pretzel Balls – (buy 1 lb. for $4.99 on their website)

This is my first month receiving Candy Club, but I’ve read such great things about this candy in previous reviews! These little bonbons filled with salty pretzel and covered in sweet milk chocolate are the perfect snack. Must lock away for safe keeping!

FINI Kollisions Candy – (buy a 5 lb. bag for $24.95 on Amazon)

I like licorice, but it’s not necessarily my go-to when it comes to candy. These candies include a variety including soft pieces, filled pieces, and wheels. The flavors also vary and are both sweet and slightly tart.

Dorval Sour Power Cotton Candy Belts – (buy a 6.6 lb. bag for $31.89 on Amazon)

Full disclosure, I did not get a cotton candy flavor from these sour belts. I happen to love love love sour gummy candy like these, but for me, the flavor was not my fave. Of course, I tend to go for fruity flavors. If you are into these interesting flavors, you will like these guys.

Sweet’s State Fair Mix Salt Water Taffy – (buy a 3 lb. bag for $13.43 on Amazon)

You get 4 different flavored taffies which include buttered popcorn, cotton candy, red licorice, and bubble gum. I liked all the flavors except not so much with the buttered popcorn. I know people also love this flavor in a jelly bean, but I much more prefer actual buttered popcorn, perhaps with some salt water taffy on the side!

Verdict: This was a great introduction to my first box from Candy Club! I really liked the mix of candy that I received, though more chocolate wouldn’t have been a bad thing. For $33.99 ($27.99 + $6 shipping), I received four different candies. Candy Club sends approximately 3lbs. of candy, which would make each variety about $11. Definitely felt like I went to a bulk candy store to pick out my faves so this was for sure worth it.
