I like both, Evocateur and the Votive, but will buy the box with 2 Evocateur items – a cuff and a necklace.

I attend a lot of gem shows because I make jewelry and I’m not really surprised at the retail (Nieman’s) retail price on the votive holder since it’s rose and solid quartz. I LOVE those bracelet cuffs and would adore any of them. They are like little works of wearable art. But sadly this box is out of my price range under any circumstances.

I agree, Julia. Evocateur is just a piece of art. I think the best way to purchase this box is to become a member with $30off coupon (they sent yesterday – club30). And then buy a box with $100 off. Hope it helps.

Iove the cuffs! the Kathryn McCoy votive holder is that expensive bc princess zelda is imprisoned in it. i would almost bite (two cuffs option) but all the necklace options are not appealing to me.

$485 for this box? $580 votive holder? I feel like I’m in bizzaro-land. I’m thinking if you have $485 to spend on a box with a $580 votive holder in it that you have so much money that you’d just as soon buy the holder outright. If I were to spend $500 on a box I would want solid gold or silver jewelry and I’d be irritated if a third of the approximate value was coming from a votive holder. Smh.

LOL! You made me laugh out loud Jillian! And you’re right. Even if it did have the money to spend on a $485 sub box it wouldn’t be that one. It’s just my opinion but the stuff is U.G.L.Y. That jewelry is God awful tacky. And a little creepy. I don’t want some antique creepy lady face for a necklace. PASS. The cuffs look a like Wonder Woman QVC fashion line.

I bought this box. Just because someone does not think something is valuable, does not mean it isn’t – value is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I would lust after, but never buy that votive on it’s own, but I am getting the entire box for the price of the cuff with my membership, and everything else is just beautiful bonus items. I have always wanted one of the cuffs – just because something is not gold or silver does not mean it does not have value. Well made jewelry is well made jewelry. If the cuff were gold, it would be thousands of dollars. Really confused why people are dissing this box – the values are not inflated or made up – they are the actual retail values at B & M stores. I am very excited to recieve my box!

Is the bracelet solid silver with gold plating and the necklace solid gold?

The votive holder is $440 at Neiman Marcus — that’s $140 discrepancy. Regardless, I’d never pay more than $20 for a candle holder.

Dear Ash,

The item that you saw on Neuman Marcus site is made of Clear Quartz. The Votive on our spoiler is made of Rose and Clear Quartz which is much more expensive therefore the price is higher.
