This is the note I received from my stylist, Alice. If you have a moment, please read it. She puts absolutely so much thought into what she sends me every month, and I just love her for it! This month she talks a lot about my upcoming vacation to the National Parks with my kids this summer, which is what I asked her to send pieces for.
This is the invoice that was included in my box, showing the cost of each item that I decide to keep.
When I signed up, I had to complete a style quiz to create my style profile. It included sizes, but also what kinds of looks I prefer, how I like my clothes to fit, and whether I am looking for work, event, or travel clothing. I did notice that casual was not an option, but I have received plenty of casual clothes so far. In any case, I would expect items to vary substantially from subscriber to subscriber.
The reverse side of the invoice includes important reminders for trying on and (maybe) returning the items you were sent.
White Heritage Fit Denim Jeans by Gloria Vanderbilt – Cost to keep $36.50
I am thrilled that Alice sent me jeans in a short size, but she got the size wrong for some reason. I am not really in the market for white jeans, but I am sure if I told her she would send some in the correct size right away. This has never happened to me before with Stylogic, and mistakes happen, so it’s okay. I think white jeans are a great choice for the vacation clothes I asked for.
Paisley Print Cold Shoulder Dress by Artisan NY – Cost to keep $45
I had no idea this was a dress when I pulled it out of the box, and I don’t think I would ever wear it as one. It’s so short! But I think it works really well as a tunic. I love a blue and white print! This is a nice cotton jersey.
Bare Denim Jacket by D. Jeans – Cost to keep $65
I love the color of this jacket! Blush! Alice is right, it is perfect for my upcoming vacation. It’s just a little too big. On the other hand, that would allow me to wear heavier layers beneath it if necessary…
Heather White Cold Shoulder Active Top by Balance Collection – Cost to keep $34
This is one of my favorite pieces from this month’s box! I love the fit and cut! This is also a really comfortable cotton, and nice and lightweight, too.
Peek-a-Boo Back Sheer Cardigan by Socialite – Cost to keep $40
I really love the color and print of this cardigan, and I like the lace accents, too. I’m just not sure how I feel about the open draping in the back. I think I definitely am wearing the wrong top for this. It would probably look amazing with a black cami.
Verdict: With the exception of the jeans, this month’s box from Stylogic was a big hit for me! I love both the tops, and the outer layers are great, too. I think Alice did a tremendous job picking out awesome vacation clothes for me! I also appreciate that the pieces are nicely priced for the occasion. I can be as active as I like in the great outdoors and not worry too much about ruining anything. I am becoming a big fan of Stylogic!
