The items come packaged in a tube. It is cute, and I think I will reuse it to store brushes or eyeliners that I’m not currently using.

Smashbox Cover Shot (Golden Hour) Deluxe Palette - Deluxe Sample, Full Size Value, $29.00
This little sample includes two shades from the larger palette. It is the perfect size for throwing in my makeup bag! The shades are on the warm side, a bronze and a peach, and both very pigmented. They are metallic and buildable so you can go from shimmer to metallic foil by adding layers or wetting your brush. I would be interested in trying a matte shade from this palette to see if it is as creamy and blendable as these shades. Stay tuned for a few swatches.
First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Bouncy Mask - Deluxe Sample, Value $7.50 (Full-size value $38)
This mask is a clear gel mask that you apply and leave on for 10 minutes. It is very cooling and smells heavily of cucumber. My skin felt hydrated and soothed after and it didn’t cause any irritation. Yay! I like that this sample comes in a tube, but the full-size packaging is a jar, which is not my favorite.
Cover Girl Full Lash Bloom Mascara - Full Size, Value $7.99
I choose this from three different mascara choices. I liked that it promised full, soft lashes. It makes my lashes fluttery, black, and soft looking. It isn’t a mascara I would reach for if I wanted a dramatic look though. The wand is not my favorite. It is a hard, plastic applicator and while it does give great separation of the lashes, it is uncomfortable to use. I like to wiggle the applicator at the base of my lashes and this felt a bit scratchy and irritating and like it might be dangerous to try and apply in the car.
Burt’s Bees Glossy Lip Crayon in Tahitian Sunset - Full Size, Value $9
I choose this shade out of 6 different shade options. It is a warm rose color and is dark but flattering for my skin tone. I like the formula, a sheer, semi-gloss, twist-up crayon. It isn’t opaque but gives good coverage with one layer. It works well with my dry lips and actually feels moisturizing. Many lip crayons I have tried tend to creep out of my lip line and look messy after an hour, but this one stays in place. Some people say they use a lip liner to give it more lasting power, but let’s be honest, lip liner is not happening every day. There is no added fragrance or flavor and only a slight hint of a waxy smell. Overall, I think Burt’s Bees did a great job with this product, and I’ll probably pick up a few more colors. Essie Nail Polish in Backseat Besties - Full Size, Value $9
This is the color of my summer dreams. Essie calls it a “delicate pink plumeria” and it is bright and flattering on my non-tanning complexion. Essie formulates their polishes without DBP, Toluene, and Formaldehyde (3-free). I applied 2 coats and got shiny, smooth, opaque color that lasted about an average amount of time for me and fingernail polish. I’m going to try to apply this over clear gel polish to see if I can make it last longer.
Verdict: RachhLoves Spring Favourites box is a fun collection of beauty products for spring and I love that you can choose from multiple shades. The box has a value of $33.50 plus the value of the Smashbox eyeshadow sample. For $19.99 with free shipping, I think that is a good value.
