Honey Belle Organics products! More info from Pearlesque Box:

In 2013, Dr. Hou began to develop skin irritations and allergies from commercial department store brands. She began making homemade remedies  with her knowledge about herbs, for herself, her patients, and her daughter who at the time suddenly developed psoriasis. Iris became inspired by her new-found knowledge and awareness of what she was putting onto her skin.

"I suddenly became so aware of what I was putting onto my skin after I got psoriasis. I realized as a broke college student, I couldn't afford anything considered 'healthy' in the market. So I started studying ingredients, and I made homemade recipes to replace each and every one of my beauty products. And I fell in love.. I couldn't wait to share them with everyone around me!"

Iris created an alias on Instagram named “Honey Belle” for ‘natural beauty.’ She started posting her products on there, and people started contacting her about purchasing them. She sold it, not thinking anything of it at first. Then, more and more people began to make orders, and that’s when Calvin her boyfriend came to help- helping Iris on his days off from work.

"It wasn't until people who were willing to try my products out on Instagram, started emailing us saying: 'Honey Belle is changing my life', 'I feel like I can use less make-up now', 'I feel so much more confident in my own skin', that I turned to Calvin and said ‘Let’s do this, let’s just help people with their skin!'

So they quit their full-time jobs, and started chasing this passion to make a difference in other people's lives.

"My vision in making my products price-conscious is to have natural + organic products more accessible to everyone, since I wasn't able to afford them. I can easily mark up my products and make billions, but that's not my focus. I'd rather give back. We’ve donated to hundreds of people, and to countries such as Guatemala, Vietnam, Honduras, and Burma to name a few, as well as local homeless shelters in Los Angeles. Giving back is so important, and it's something that fulfills me."

You will receive 4 Full Size Products and 2 Travel Size Product all worth over $90 in retail value! Subscribe by May 5th (4pm PST) to receive this box.

Received my box today and was very upset to see that both the day and night creams contain phenoxyethanol.
The mass classifies it as a skin irritant and European cosmetic counsel states it should not be used on the lips near mucous membranes or around the mouth. Synthetic ethylation as opposed to green tea extract is also an environmental problem. I thought the point of this box was safe nontoxic organic ingredients?? 🙁

Mass was a typo I meant the MSDS which is a chemically industry safety sheet

This looks fantastic and just in time for summer! I don’t like tea tree oil on my face but this will be great for the chest, shoulders and back to keep away acne from the humid soupy sweaty mess that is an east coast day. I’m excited to be getting such a great range as I like being able to use the products without worrying about making them last 😉 I’m going to carry the spray in my purse and the day and night creme are going to live in my luggage since I travel for work at least 4 times a month. LOVE getting a rull range of what is going to be my new travel set.

am I the only one who thinks these products look very cheap? Not that they are cheaply made but packaging is not quite there for me. I’m a very visual person and that’s an issue. sometimes I buy stuff simply because they look so pretty but this is not anything appealing to me

Unless it’s from a better known brand, or at least one well known to me, that gave me an expectation for product appearance, it doesn’t matter that much. Given the company’s stated mission and that they work to keep prices low to ensure customer accessibility, minimal packaging is in line with my expectations for this brand. For me this is a box full of products, more than most include from month to month, that allows an even more in depth chance to test the skincare range. I long since ran out of appropriate display space in my bathroom either way so how it looks would need to matter to my blow dryer and tissue boxes because that’s where most new things go to wait. In the end all I’m interested is what’s inside the packaging; aesthetics are nice but can never make up for a subpar, useless to me product.

I agree EC – well said! I mean, I do like pretty bottles but don’t want to spend too much extra for that.

Luna

I personally like the simplicity of the packaging, as shown in the 1st picture. The font used reminds me a lot of Jordan Samuel’s packaging… for which I’m anxiously waiting for that brand to be included in ANY box. 🙂 But, I can understand, as a lot of the higher end green beauty products are contained in black glass (I can’t remember the official name for that type of glass), which does lend to a sleek look.
