I can’t believe I ordered this box the day you reviewed it, and it’s ALREADY ARRIVED! After all the shipping problems, slow orders, etc. I’m so impressed. I absolutely love this box. I was happy with everything in it, even the couple things which I will put up for swap. The presentation and packaging were top notch for boxes at this price point. It even smelled a lovely lavender scent when I opened the box due to the bathbomb!

I just subscribed to Sugarbash, been w FFF for a while, subscribe to Causebox, and PLAY. I’m good. Nothing exciting at all with this box. And that Browgal pencil has been in SOOOOOO many boxes. 🙄

Curious what would motivate you to insult this box unless you work for another one? The products in this box have an HONEST evaluation of $175 if you were to buy then separately. As to BrowGal – the owner Tonya is a friend and doesnt agree she’s been in SOOOOOO many boxes.

Sorry you won’t be trying MGB – do hope you enjoy all those other boxes you’re buying!

Diane,
That comment seems a little uncalled for and doesn’t represent the company very well to other prospective buyers. The Browgal has recently been in Boxycharm, Allure, and Beautycon to name a few that I’m aware of. If you sub a lot of different boxes, it does seem like the same products come across over and over. And it’s OK- Not every person is going to love every product, every time.

Kelly

Excuse me but all I said was nothing about the box excited me to spend $50. I already have two Browgal pencils too. I noticed you didn’t scold/lecture others here that said the same as I did. All sub boxes have inflated retail values of their products. All of them. I do (and will) enjoy my other sub boxes I’m buying.

Ha ha I love these comments! We need to start an MSA fan group on Facebook so we can all chat!!

I am a diehard 90210 superfan {not afraid to admit it either}…and I adore Jennie Garth {her photography prints she sells are gorgeous too}.

I ordered this box… I am hoping the bracelet lasts longer than her marriage did to Dylan McKay tho… {heehee}.

I think it’s overpriced too.. It would also be nice if there was more skin care. I love me some skin care!

If this includes a full size Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm, that’s $34 and I love it!

Will it have the cleansing balm and will it be full size?

Never mind… in the picture it looks like a small sample size.

Sorry, Jennie. You’re jumping on the sub box bandwagon way too late. That corner is saturated.

Nice box. Trying not to buy it, but wish it had come out before the Popsugar one!

Too expensive for me, but I like the curation.

The stuff in here seems pretty standard and not an amazing deal unless you’re a 90210 superfan (the bracelet).

Which I happen to be.

That being said………..bangle is likely over the hand, which is a bad style for me 🙁 🙁 🙁

Hi! The bangle opens and closes so no problem getting it over any hand!

I found a press release with a little more info:
Garth personally chooses every product in her Mom Gift Box collection, focusing on local artisans, small shops and items made in America whenever possible. The Welcome Box is priced as low as $45.95 with more than $175 in products. Every purchase includes free shipping and earns rewards points towards free boxes. Customers can pause, switch or cancel their subscription anytime. Orders placed by May 9th will arrive anywhere in the continental United States by Mother’s Day. Moving forward, new subscribers will have the opportunity to choose the Welcome Box or that current month’s gift box.

The bracelet is probably worth at least $50. I want this box. not sure about a sub but I do want this particular box.

Jennie’s MomGiftBox is part of TheGiftBox family – so you can start, stop, cancel or switch out any of the boxes every month! You can try Mom Gift Box one month, Sweets next, or Pets or Escape with Golfers, Fishing, Chef, Wine, Pastry, Enchantment, Veterans, Students and more coming out in the months ahead:)

Wendy

My first thought was this is not worth $50. Seems way overpriced for what it contains.

Reply ButtonReply

Diane McNamara

It’s honestly valued at $175! The bracelet alone is one-of-a-kind created specifically for Jennie and valued at $50.

We are a very demanding group! Lol
But to put things into perspective, Popsugar usually claims around $175+ retail value and you can get those boxes for $40 (or $20 with a deal) FabFitFun is around $300+ retail and those are $50 (or $25-$40 with a deal)
I definitely like this box and would consider purchasing with a good promo deal. We need to be lured in!

Sara

My mom and sister love Jennie Garth lol. Agree $50 seems too expensive for this box though.

Jenny

$50 every month is a little stiff for the content of the box! sugarbash has very comparable contents for $40 and its bimonthly. Easy pass for me

Michelle

Agree. I used to watch 90210 as a teen and it was a ritual with my sister&mom. I wouldn’t call myself a superfan anymore, though lol. And no welcome coupons?! If there was a coupon, maybe I’d buy it.

Diane

Great advice – thank you! Let’s see if we can get a Welcome Coupon posted!
