  1. Has anyone received the box yet? I’m not supposed to get mine until next week. Wondering what’s in there.

    • I haven’t seen any tracking yet for mine.

    • I got mine today. It had

      **spoilers**

      A counter-curse advertisement T-shirt
A Snape wand pen (a pen shaped like Snape’s wand, with the wand’s handle being a holder for the pen itself, which is the rest of the wand)
      A small Dumbledore’s Army Journal
A pair of book ends made to resemble the Hogwarts’ statue guards Mcgonagall summons during the battle of Hogwarts
And the pin is Marvolo’s Gaunt ring

From the website I was expecting Luna and Moody merch, so I’m disappointed on that score. I like the book ends and the journal, and I collect pins so the ring is neat, but the tshirt is just weird and I despise Snape so the pen is going straight to ebay.

  2. Hmm, I wonder where they’ll go with this! Maybe a Dumbledore’s Army coin? That would be cool. I would LOVE something with Fluffy (the 3-headed dog that helped protect the Sorcerer’s Stone), something other than a stuffed toy.

  3. Is it Defense or Defence? That’s killing me. They have both in the spoiler.

    • “Defence” is the UK spelling

  4. So May’s theme is “Dark Arts” and July’s is “Defense Against the Dark Arts”.

I bought an annual subscription as a gift for my 13 year old daughter. This box has been overall disappointing as far as the quality of the items and the originality.

    • I agree. I was so excited to get the House Pride box, and I didn’t end up keeping any of the house-specific items because I’m Ravenclaw, and they ruined it by using the movie colors and mascot. And then I thought I cancelled, but apparently I didn’t so now I’m getting the Dark Arts box this month. Not looking forward to this as much as I was the first time.

      • I was able to pick my house. Were they out of Ravenclaw? Curious so I know to keep an eye on my settings so I don’t end up with house stuff I don’t like! I know they ask me to check my size every time.

      • Even though the movie isn’t acurette to the ravenclaw colors and animal doesn’t mean there products aren’t bad
