Cute handwritten note from co-founder, Dan!

Each item has it's own info card, describing the candle, ceramic, and extra item.

Spring "Flower of the Alps" CandleValue $19.99?

The candle came wrapped in a pretty purple bow that matched the candle's hue. Right away, I smelled a burst of Springtime freshness! This is the type of smell that makes you picture someone showering on one of those outdoor showers, overlooking an epic grassy countryside.

Next came the handmade ceramic dish and sea glass together in a cute pink package.

Handmade Ceramic Sea Glass Bowl - Value $21.00

I quite like this little dish! It's the perfect size for the candle and was hand made by the co-founder/wife half, Vered, of the husband and wife duo behind the company (and her own VIB Ceramics). The pretty blue-green hue of the sea glass is very calming and a great match to the scent. It's even signed by the artist!

Byzantine Sea Glass - Value $?

The final item and "something extra" is the Byzantine Sea Glass. The info card states that these pieces were found near the Mediterranean coastline below a Crusader-era fortress near the ancient city of Apolonia. How cool is that?! My friends have gotten me into precious stones, and these fit the bill, so I think I'll be keeping them with my collection. I love the color, as once again, it seems calming.

Verdict: I was delighted by this combination, and I thought it was well executed with the right amount of family-owned DIY. I love that the ceramic dish is handmade, and thought was definitely put behind the pairing of the three items. I would estimate the value to be around $41+, so after the steep $11 shipping to the US, the actual cost totals to about $38, which makes this box worth it to have a new combination each month!

Such beautiful photos! Thank you! I noticed a glitch with our coupon code and it’s now fixed. SAVE10 should provide a 10% discount on all products at checkout. We’ve got other coupons, too, if you’re interested.

How lovely. I have a bracelet made of the same glass. It’s really gorgeous. That candle has to be worth more and the dish is so beautiful and has so many uses. Great review

Oh I didn’t realize you estimated the value. I thought the company told you the value and that’s why I commented. I really love the ceramic dish 💜

Pretty sure a handmade candle with custom fragrance that burns 40 hours is worth more than $4.99

You know what, now that you say that, I totally agree as well. I think I was caught up in the fact that it didn’t have a container you could reuse and wasn’t putting the value on the handmade aspect. I’ve updated my value and verdict to the review.
Thanks for bringing up a solid point to this review noobie!

I agree. $4.99 just seems extremely low. You can’t even get a decent candle at Wal-Mart for that price.
