Each box contains two different scented candles (either at random or your choice), and are packaged rather well. Always happy to receive breakable items intact!

Both candles are 8 oz and come in identical glass containers.

Honeydew Melon Candle, 8 oz.

The first scent is Honeydew Melon, and smells really sweet! It transports me to a picnic in the park in the summertime, which I could certainly be into now that the weather has gotten better!

All needed info is located at the bottom, where you can find the scent in case you forget what you're sniffin'.

Peppermint Marshmallow Candle, 80z

Next up we have the Peppermint Marshmallow scent. This one is definitely more muted. The marshmallow is very soft, and I'm not picking up on the peppermint much at all. Both scents are more of a wintery vibe for me, so this one will have to wait until Fall to be lit in the house!

Verdict: This is a sweet n' simple candle subscription box. Truth be told, I wish they had a larger variety of scents to choose from (their site currently has five), and I sort of wish there was something more special about it. Other candle boxes seem to come with a little bit of flair, or the candle holders are so cute you'd want to use them after the candle is gone. Even though the candles are made in the USA, and are a good size, the 8 oz market seems to run anywhere from $8.00-$20.00 online, so these are running at the high end of things.

You mentioned other boxes with cute packaging, which ones are they? I’m a sucker for candles that are pretty enough to look like decor, all I’ve seen though are these glass types or votives with a little sparkle. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Nest has a sub box with candles and they are very visually appealing – especially in the winter months. MSA reviews those boxes too, so I would just type in “nest” in the search bar.
