Now, onto the items!

Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil – .85 oz Value $9

I’m used to heavily fragranced Ouai haircare products, so this lightly scented Rose Hair & Body Oil was a change!

The scent is more floral than rosy (which I liked), and it is silicone free, too. I tried it as both a hair oil and a body oil, and I liked it as both. It’s lightweight and absorbs into the skin easily.

Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Coconut Water Hydrating Face Mist – FULL SIZE! Value $32

This facial mist is made with all natural ingredients including aloe, coconut water, and witch hazel. It’s hydrating, refreshing, and it has a light rose scent. (My one critique is that the spray could be finer – I recommend holding this far from your face to spray it!)

JINsoon Nail Lacquer in Vogue Rose – FULL SIZE! Value $18

This “Vogue Rose” shade was made exclusively for the Vogue box! The color is high shine creme coral.

(If you aren’t familiar with JINsoon polishes, you can remove the outer cap to get a better hold of the nail polish brush.)

Here it is on:

I needed two coats to get full coverage. And I’m always impressed with the JINsoon formulas. This polish has excellent staying power. No chips for days!

NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Vogue Rose – FULL SIZE! Value $25

This is another exclusive shade made just for this box!

The color is a coppery champagne, with a lovely shimmer, and great pigment.

It has a creamy application and blends easily. (Birchbox also recommends using this as a base for powder eyeshadows.)

(Swatched in the lower photo.)

RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Vogue Rose – FULL SIZE! Value $36

RMS Beauty is a great natural/organic beauty brand – I’m always happy to see it in a subscription box!

This classic pink shade was made for Vogue’s 125 Anniversary as well! It’s a creamy formula with a satin finish. A little goes a long way, and you can use it as a lip or cheek stain.

I prefer using it for cheeks – it’s pretty much my dream blush color. Plus I love that it is easy to apply and blend with your fingers. Perfect for travel!

Here it is swatched beneath the NARS:

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask – FULL SIZE! Value $22

I have so many thoughts/feelings about this mask! (But to sum up, it’s awesome!)

Here we go:

  1. A dry mask vs a slimy face mask that gives me the same hydrated results? I’ll take dry every time!
  2. This hooks around your ears to hold it in place so it’s super easy to wear. BUT you will look like you belong in a horror movie. (If you want to improve your skin and send someone a scary selfie, this is your mask.)
  3. You can reuse it up to three times!
  4. Since it is dry, I was skeptical that I’d get the same dewy skin results I get from regular sheet masks, but it seriously does work. I love this thing!

Earth Tu Face Face Balm – FULL SIZE! Value $68

This product alone covers the cost of the box. And in my opinion, this face balm is definitely worth $68, so it’s like getting everything else for free!

This face balm is made with all organic and natural ingredients. It has the best natural and earthy scent (I couldn’t detect any rose) and the formula just melts into your skin. It’s gentle, hydrating, and a little goes a long way so this jar should last for a while.

Plus it’s another beauty item that’s great for travel!

Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner – FULL SIZE! Value $28

This lip balm is perfect for a natural look. It gives you a subtle shine, and it’s super moisturizing with no stickiness. The rose scent is subtle, too.

Verdict: I was skeptical going into this box because I’m not the biggest rose-scent fan. But after trying all the products I am in love with this box! The value is incredible – $238! And every product is pretty amazing. I wish Vogue and Birchbox did collaborations all the time! (Now I’m thinking of buying another box!)

  1. Does BB ever reduce the price on these Limited Edition boxes?

  2. I’ve posted at least 4 times about this box. I want it bad. Hopefully it will sell out soon or maybe lower the price. With 8 subs , I’m in product overload. I want to do swaps but i guess I’m not real bright because I can’t catch the hang of it.

    • Haha same here! I want the box because I love roses but I have waaay too many products. I keep waiting hoping for the box to be sold out or something.

  3. I can’t wait to get mine!! I totally forgot the mystery sample pack!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

  4. i already have the most expensive full size items in this box but these photos are making me want to buy it purely for the rose/peach aesthetic? i love rose and peach tones soooo much!

  5. How doesn’t a dry sheet mask work? I may have to try that Charlotte Tillbury mask separately or as part of a Charlotte Tillbury set. The rest of these products would just be accumulation for me.

  6. Hi Liz,
Can you please look into why my comments to this thread aren’t posting, but my “testing” comment did? Are there key words I used that forced them to reject?

    • Hi Luna,

So sorry about that. All comments are visible now, and I’m not sure what would have caused them to not go through immediately. I’ll look into it. Sorry again!

  7. Hi Kara!

(let’s see if 3rd times a charm. my replies to you aren’t posting, but it seems like if I just post a regular comment, they post… kind of annoying as I noticed my comments to other posts haven’t been posting lately…)

    Anywayyyyy… 🙂

I did purchase all three of the boxes you mentioned! Between BB’s and Barney’s box, I would recommend BB’s box (assuming you don’t have an aversion to rose scented products) as it is a more well rounded box as it includes skincare, makeup, hair care, body care, and a nail polish. Barney’s box is more makeup focused. Net-a-Porter’s box is also a nicely curated, well rounded box too! That’s good to hear that their box may get replenished.

If I had to pick only one out of the three, I would choose BB’s box, since I absolutely love anything rose scented. Plus, I only gifted one item from this box, as opposed to a few items from the other boxes.

    • Thanks, Luna! This feedback is perfect! I think I’ll take Barneys out of the running. I like both the BB and NAP sets very much. Not much overlap of products. Both sets are lovely!

  8. testing.. (comments not posting)

  9. I would love this box but the price seems just to high. I love roses so this one is a struggle for me to resist

  10. I wasn’t interested in this box at all until you reviewed it…. Now it looks amazing!

    • I didn’t even realize how much I would love it until I used all the products! 🙂

  11. I’m trying to decide between this box or Barney’s Beauty Essentials on the Go box. And I’m kind of hoping Net-a-porter’s travel kit comes back in stock (it is currently sold out but says more stock is coming soon). Has anyone (@Luna) gotten all three of these boxes or two of them? I can’t decide and would love input!

    • Hi Kara,

I got both this and net-a-porter travel. I really liked both. NAP wins for me because it has Oribe texture lotion, bronzer, Rahua body oil, aromatherapy associates mask (Devine!), lanolips (new fave), Davines shampoo, eyeko mascara (not a fan), omorovicza spritz and a few other items. I had to get more of that box too. It looks likes it might be out of stock for now but they always replenish.
BB vogue is great if you like roses, both are excellent boxes though. NAP also had more full size items. Can’t lose 😜

      • Thanks, KarenG! Both do look like great boxes! The NAP looks so on point for summer. But both are very lovely. We’ll see if i can just limit myself to one or the other. I really do love the NAP sets.

      • I called Net-a-porter and asked about their beauty travel kit , she said it was sold out and didn’t have a date when it will be back. She did say they would email when or if it came back in stock.

    • Hi Kara!

I did get all three of the boxes you mentioned. 🙂 I’m not sure what your beauty preferences are, but between BB’s box & Barney’s, I would recommend BB’s box (assuming you don’t have an aversion to rose scented products) because it seems to be the most well-rounded box out of the two in terms of including skincare, makeup, hair care, body care, and a nail polish. Barney’s box is more focused on makeup. The Net-a-Porter box is also a wonderful all-around box too!

    • Hi Kara!

(it looks like my original post didn’t go through, so I’ll give it another try…)

I did get all three of the boxes you mentioned. 🙂 If I had to recommend either the BB or Barney’s box, I would recommend the BB box (assuming you don’t have an aversion to rose scented products), because it seems to be the most well-rounded box out of the two in terms of including skincare, hair care, body care, makeup, and a nail polish. The Barney’s box is more focused on makeup. However, the Net-a-Porter box is also a nicely curated, well-rounded box too! That’s good to hear that their boxes get replenished. 🙂

If I had to choose out of the three, I would choose BB’s box, but that’s based on my love of anything rose scented, plus I only gifted one item from this box (the NARS item), and gave more items away out of the other two boxes.

  12. Well that did it. I had my eye on this one and was waiting for your review. With the 15% off, it was worth it for me. Thanks Liz!

    • Yay! Hope you love it! 🙂

  13. The only things I would want from this box are the Nars eyeshadow pencil and the dry mask. Hopefully I’ll be able to swap for them.

  14. As someone who is actually allergic to roses this box is my nightmare. Why does it all have to look so pretty?

  15. I’ve tried dry sheet masks before, and I was also pleasantly surprised at how well they work! It feels like nothing going on, but when I take it off my skin feels so moisturized and very smooth.

I love the rms beauty item for a lip gloss. It’s such a beautiful color. And, I already have the rose oil in my bathroom ready to be used up right away! I love anything rose scented, and every weekend I “treat” myself to only rose-scented products when I get ready to go out, so I can’t wait until I can get my hands on a full-sized bottle. Besides the naturals box last year, this is my favorite BB LE box I’ve purchased.

  16. After seeing the review and coupon, I picked it up. I really need to stop coming to this site. 😛

    • me too.

  17. Is the face balm similar to OLO skin savior?

  18. This looks so amazing…. not sure if I have the money. I hope it goes on sale

  19. I hope this box gets reduced in price. I love almost everything about it , but im maxed out with 8 subs. I gotta stay strong. Just say No!😂

    • Me too, I’m also subscribed to 8 boxes and I buy all the LE and add ons. I’m sure if the price goes down ill be giving in and purchasing this one too. lol

    • Me, too. I love this box..I’m maxed out at 6…..

  20. And now I want this box!… dangit

    • I want it now too! I hope the price goes down a smidge.

  21. I love Rose everything! I had to buy this box and I’m super happy that I did. I plan on snagging another one.
My favorite is earth tu facein this box; followed by Ouai, the scent is surprisingly subtle and I prefer using it on my skin and dabbingnon pulse points, almost as a fragrance. Everything else is also fantastic. Love love love this box!
Sure, it’s pricier than the usual, but the quality of every product is worth every penny

  22. Thank you so much for posting this! I literally love everything shown, I just purchased mine, can’t wait!

  23. The 2 exclusive shades of Nars and rms are in the BB shop if anyone wants the color but not spring for the whole box. I expect the nail polish will follow soon too.

  24. Oh well crap. I didn’t have any interest in this box until I saw this review. Now FOMO is setting in…….

  25. I absolutely love rose; the scent, the color… everything!! I just wish this box was cheaper, it’s the only thing keeping me from buying this box.
