Yeah, definitely not mad I cancelled. I have no intention of resubbing to this box.

Tired of primers and Ren products…

Been a member for 3.5 years and it’s time to cancel. All the options, even the beta boxes, include items I’ve received before. With the points system change and the lack of fresh new options for long time subscribers it’s time to move on. I thought the beta program would have way more fun options for curated boxes and customization, but it’s totally not worth the 50% price hike. The curated boxes are almost all the same ones they offered last month… and smashbox primer for sample choice? They really couldn’t come up with something better than that tired sample? C’mon.

That’s it, I’m done with Birchbox. I have subscribed for 4 months, and they have all been busts. I heard so many good things about Birchbox so I kept waiting for it to get better, but it just keeps getting worse. The products they send me are all low value and hardly ever fit my profile. Out of all the items I have received, only one of them is even close to something I would actually use more than once. All the hair stuff they send smells like horribly strong chemicals (I had to rewash my hair after using several of them) and their customer service is terrible. This $10/month will be better spent elsewhere. Good riddance!

Looks like I’m the third Heather in a row to post about the same thing! I’ve been a member for two years and I just cancelled. Until they have more full-size offerings or generous deluxe samples (like Ipsy manages to do at the same price point), it just isn’t worth the $10. I’ve found some amazing products in my time with Birchbox, but over the past few months, my loyalty has been rewarded with teeny-tiny repeats and boxes full of “meh.”

I love that mascara. That alone is worth the $10!

Nvm it is sold out 🙁

They need to stop recycling products! Same options month after month! Miss being excited about my sub’s!

I agree. I was on the fence for the past few months about keeping my sub. This month’s options put the last nail in the coffin. Finally cancelled.

So glad i cancelled my subscription, I have all the, rather meh, samples in the curated box already.

The box itself is super cute but not enough to make up for the meh samples. Pass

Sometimes I wonder how old the samples really are. Most of these samples in all of the box choices I have received over the past year and a half. A bit of putting.

I wonder that about the kits they are STILL selling! Most of them were released over a year /year and a half ago. And I cringe when I see that lip kit as a free gift with sub. That one lip kit has been out for nearly 2 years now?! Makes me really not trust any of their samples anymore. But if the manufacturer /company refuses to stamp expiration dates it reflects badly on them too..

I’m happy here! I see a lot of stuff I like. I’m going to request Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and the curated box.

SO boring Birchbox!!!! Sample choices are WAY repeated products or a blush from a pretty unknown company. NO thanks and the curated is LAME! I’ve sampled almost all of those products already. When my annual is up it’s goodbye Birchbox. They do nothing to “wow” me anymore. So Sad, used to love them.

I really wanted to re sub to birchbox this month as a treat for my birthday but I don’t like any of the sample options OR the curated box OR the box pattern 🙁 the only thing I kind of want is the free pixi lip balm. I could pick a sample just to give it as part of a gift and hope birchbox pulls through with my other products… I had birchbox for a couple of months last year and I really liked it and didn’t have most of the problems I’ve seen people complain about with birchbox lately. But i havent been inspired to re sub because of the unappealing sample options. First world problems.

Enough of that smashbox primer already!! Still glad I cancelled Birchbox months ago.

Ugh. I need a t-shirt that says Bored by Birchbox.

Tough choice….a curated box of “ordinary” just to try the Davines shampoo coz I’ve liked their products in the past. Or choose the sample of the blush because everything else is a rehash of things I’ve had a million times.

Based off this initial spoiler, I like the featured box, but don’t want to make a repeat mistake like May.

I will go with the curator box, not happy about mascara, but it would be a nice gift to any of my co-workers. I hate dry shampoos and have like four of these primers. Afraid to select blush, because last month I made my selection, and they put all three choices in my box, which defeated purpose of the selection. If I selected one, obviously, I do not other two.
