Unique Vintage 1940s White & Cherry Print Cap Sleeve Dixon Day Dress – Value $82
I think this is pretty cute (and not as quirky as the sushi dress from a few months ago). I love the style and print and found it easy to zip up without help. This was lined but even with the lining, it was completely see-through. In the photos above, I am wearing a nude-colored above-the-knee slip, and that was enough to make it wearable. On the one hand, it is basically three layers for a summer garment, but realistically, I don’t ever go outside for more than a few minutes, and I sit in an air-conditioned office all day, so I shouldn’t get too hot. The length is great for me (I am 5’5”), too!
Verdict: The dress I received from Unique Vintage this month had a value of $82, which is well above the cost of the subscription plus shipping. It fits well and I think the pattern is cute, plus it is definitely something I will be able to wear to work.
