Wait…. so more money for less food and options!? I’ll pass on this one and stick to green chef

I love Ayesha, but $75 for two meals is to high for me. Also, I don’t think you can see what’s on the menu, so you might get stuck with something you don’t like. I have the world’s pickiest eater, so I can’t take a chance on just anything. Good luck with it though! Go Dubs!!

Lol “I would love to pay more money for less meals and ONE delivery option” said no box subscriber ever.

I saw the trailer for her box and what wasn’t mentioned – they include a coloring book in the meal box! I’m not sure if it’s only for the family box cause I can’t think of a reason why a couple needs a coloring book to keep themselves entertained while the food is cooking 😂

At least she’s not trying to say it’s an affordable option, I admire her honesty.

The food looks great, and I’m glad this woman is following her passion. good luck to her and her business.

The pricing for this is absurd, and the misspelling of thyme is driving me crazy, especially since the copy then goes on and spells it as time. Pick one!

Yayay to grammar gurus :D! Those are some serious typos O.o. If they want to charge a premium they should at least hire a copyeditor lol.

I get Plated and Green Chef, and love the concept of these subs as I’m a vegan and my son is a meat eater; it makes cooking dinner a heck of a lot easier for the two of us. But for crying out loud, subscribers are already paying premium prices that covers the whole experience and that includes the presentation of the recipes. Not spelling the TITLE of the recipes correctly looks so lazy.

And it makes you question the professionalism of the whole affair!

Like why should I trust you if you can’t handle the bare basics?

Kate

And then they call it carrot pure not carrot puree.

OMG-I didn’t realize it was only two recipes, versus the typical 3. And I was already thinking the $15 shipping was steep. Yikes! Meal boxes are an occasional luxury for me, but this box would practically be more expensive than going to a good local restuarant.

I’d rather pay to go out at those prices…someone else can do my dishes, then!

All of the prep, cooking and cleanup! That is exactly what I say to myself every time I see the prices for these meal subscriptions. One can get a perfectly healthful, delicious meal out for less than $20 per person.

Yup!

Don’t think it’s going to be a big hit here in CLE.

$75 for two meals?? As much as I love Home Chef $60 for 3 meals for two people, I only get it once or twice a month. It’s a bit pricey, much cheaper to go to the grocery store. But it’s so convenient, the recipes are delicious, easy to make and cleanup is a breeze.

I liked the idea of a box for two adults and three children, but that’s far too expensive and it looks like all of the other meal delivery services, but more expensive. I think she’s maybe capitalizing on her husband’s name.

$75 for one meal is crazy expensive

jill

yikes. I would rather go to a byob twice a week. $18.75 per person per meal is too steep.

I really did enjoy green chef which was cheaper and organic.

This looked exciting to try until I saw the $15 shipping charge.
