The bag came with this information card. This month it did not have any directions for the products but thankfully there were at least English names on everything so you could guess how to use the items.

3W Clinic Snail Eye Cream (anti-wrinkle, 40 mL) – Value $4.44

This is the biggest tube of eye cream I’ve ever seen. I’m a little anxious about eye cream these days because something that previously worked for me (the coffee bean one from 100% Pure) has recently caused irritation. But, I gave this a try and it was gentle and moisturizing. (I don’t really have wrinkles around my eyes so I can’t speak to that.)

The key ingredient here, of course, is snail secretion filtrate. This is a very moisturizing ingredient and I definitely felt the effects here. Unfortunately, the websites where this is for sale has little information or mostly Korean language or very poor English and I can’t find out much else about it.

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence (with galactomyces, 30 mL) – Value $2.80

This is a clear, non-viscous liquid that I find applies best with a cotton pad. It is non-drying and takes a short amount of time to dry. Although essence is slightly different from toner, I have been using it when I would typically use toner (thus after cleansing and before moisturizing or other treatments). It definitely does not dry out my skin, which is nice.

This has a lot of great ingredients including witch hazel (also found in a lot of toners), chamomile and purslane extracts which are definitely soothing, green tea extract which has a lot of antioxidants, and Galactomyces candidus ferment filtrate, which is a type of fungal culture extract that can help protect against environmental stresses. This is the kind of product that doesn’t have immediate results but hits all the right notes in terms of ingredients for me for using in the long term.

Skinfood Yuja Water Whitening Ampoule in Serum (2 samples, 1 mL total?) – Total Value $0.89? (buy a 44 mL bottle for $39 from Skinfood)

You will get foils or something similar every now and then from TutiiBag. This is a clear, somewhat viscous product that absorbs into the skin very nicely and is moisturizing. I don’t like these little packets, though – when I bent back the top part to open them, half the product shot out onto my shirt.

This has yuja extract (yuja is a type of citrus fruit so there is a lot of vitamin C). It is supposed to even out skin tone and reduce hyperpigmentation but I would probably need to use it more than twice to see that sort of effect. I do like skincare with antioxidants, even if the effects are not readily apparent. This allegedly has a citrus scent but I have kind of a bad cold and my sense of smell has been very selective lately. This also has moisturizing ingredients like aloe and glycerin as well as niacinamide which is probably contributing to the correction of hyperpigmentation.

Etude House Happy Essential Foam Hyaluronic Acid (40%) Cleanser (150 mL) – Value $5.20

I used this for the first time at the end of a day when I’d worn no makeup and my face was all oily. It did a great job of removing oil without making my face feel dry. However, it was kind of hard to wash off completely. So I have moved this to the shower, where it will still do a great job of removing sweat and oil but where it will be easier to rinse away.

The 40% here refers to the fact that the cleanser is formulated with 40% moisturizers – in this case, hyaluronic acid is one of them. Hyaluronic acid is a carbohydrate polymer that holds on to a lot of water near the surface of the skin, thus having a moisturizing (and anti-wrinkle/fine line) effect. I suspect the high amount of hyaluronic acid is why this felt a bit slippery and took time to rinse off.

Edge Cutimal Pig Collagen Mask from Belleza Castillo – Value $3

There is usually one sheet mask in Miss Tutii TutiiBag. This brand was new to me. This does have a pig face printed on it but, unlike a lot of masks with animal faces on them, the fabric for this one wasn’t super stiff. There was quite a lot of serum but this wasn’t drippy.

The main effect of this mask is adding moisture to the skin. It contains glycerin, hydrolyzed collagen, sodium hyaluronate, and aloe. Collagen is a protein that is too large to penetrate the skin (even in hydrolyzed form) but it can help hold moisture near the surface of the skin just like sodium hyaluronate can. This is also supposed to help minimize pores but I can’t say I really noticed that. It also has purslane, which I find soothing, and pomegranate extract, which should contain some antioxidants.

Verdict: I calculated a value of $16.33 for the March 2017 Miss Tutii TutiiBag, which is a little over the month-to-month cost of the subscription. You have to take the prices here with a grain of salt because K-beauty prices are all over the map. You may find the items for dirt cheap from overseas sources but you will have to pay a lot for shipping and wait a few weeks for your products to arrive (so I have used US-based sources when I could find them). Although I was not so fond of the little sample ampoules, I was happy with the sizes of the other products. Plus, I really did like that this month’s TutiiBag was so heavily focused on skincare. I actually did a spa night kind of thing with these, using the cleanser, mask, eye cream, essence, and serum ampoules one after the other. My skin felt pretty good afterward.

I just want to let you know that I subscribe to the Tutti Bag and they have been terrible about actually shipping it to me! This is my second month, I was charged at the end of March, and it’s the end of April and not even a shipping update!

I contacted them several times this week and there was no response. Finally today I got an email back that they hope I understand that weather can cause shipping delays. They still gave me no update whether they actually plan to fulfill my order. I ask for a refund and they said that they don’t do them yet they seem to not plan to ship my bag this month. I don’t understand how weather can prevent them from even sending it out and no tracking number, nothing!

Very poor customer service and potentially scamming you!!
