Well, I’m sad to say I received my lippie and tried them out. Here is the good and the bad:
I am very sad I had very high hopes with these lippies and their customer service is top rated in my opinion, however I do not consider these liquid lipsticks. They are indeed very creamy and feel soft on application, the applicator is very nice and the bottles are cute! They have a very faint scent of icing but not overwhelming and dissipated within a minute. The dry time was extremely long and a second coat can be applied easily. However the reason for the creaminess and easy second coat I believe is for the reasons here: They feathered on my lips, transferred, smeared easily, and did not last long at all!! (Two hours tops) I literally could wipe it off my lips just with my finger or tissue. To me that is not a liquid
Lipstick! I’m VERY SAD ABOUT IT! I cancelled my subscription today.

Aww bummer Jennifer. But I agree with you. I’m on my 2nd day of wearing these and my original 4 hour review was with the Rome color but it is definitely shorter with Milan and it never dries down completely. These are very nice as a regular lipstick but if you are used to wearing say Kat Von D, Stila, Colourpop etc. than you will be unhappy. They kind of remind me of Nyx Soft Mattes. I think I’ll give them one more month and then cancel.

I just got mine in the mail today and they are gorgeous. All three shades are very wearable and neutral and not as dark as they appear in the swatches above. At least not on my lip tone which is rosy. They are super smooth, feel moisturizing and smell like cake. However the dry down is taking awhile and I can’t speak to how long they last since its only been 10 minutes. I can update tomorrow with how long it lasted me this evening. I did just put a 2nd coat on because I wanted the color to be darker and it went on no problem which is rare with liquid matte lipsticks and me. Usually a 2nd coat would cause clumping or unevenness. I really like these so far!

What’s the verdict Felicia? I caved last night and subbed. I end my lip Montly for this one. I never really truly loved anything I received from them anyway. I’m just hoping that these lipsticks are not like glue or cement on the lips. I’m really hoping that I love these..

Hi Jennifer,

The lipsticks are definitely not like glue or cement. They are very soft and moist feeling but the tradeoff is they don’t last all day. Or at least the color I tested last night and this morning did not. But it has lasted a nice amount of time (4 hours) without needing a touch-up and that was through coffee and water. They did leave a slight lipstick mark on the rim. I think if you prepped your lips first they would last even longer, mine are dry right now and I was in a rush this morning. I hope you love them too.
