The box comes with a cute card listing the 11 products included.

Sanrio Bunny Purse

This little coin purse features Hello Kitty dressed up as a bunny! It feels velvety and soft. The bow feels like it’s stuffed so it keeps its shape well.

Kawaii-box-april-2017-0016

The inside is lined with what almost feels like mesh and the official Sanrio sticker is in there.

The back of the coin purse has Hello Kitty embroidered on it and it has a little bunny tail! This has a ball chain attached at the top so you could attach this to a purse or bag. This is a cute coin purse and it would be a nice little candy holder to gift someone for Easter.

Easter Carrot Erasers

I was surprised at how heavy these carrots felt! These are dense little erasers. This pack comes with three matching carrots. These are really cute to display and the green part pops out if you prefer to use the larger surface to erase. I’ve been displaying these on my desk with my other kawaii erasers - they’re a great addition to my collection!

Harajuku Temporary Tattoos

I can’t remember the last time I used temporary tattoos! This sheet includes a dozen little designs including cake, a cactus, a musical note, and an ice cream cone! I have a couple tattoos that are just black outlines so it will be fun to try out a more colorful design! My only complaint about this item is that, while it does feel kawaii, it seems like something I could easily find on my own.

Kawaii Bunny Puffy Stickers

Keeping with the Easter theme, the next item in my box was bunny stickers! These are a couple larger stickers but the majority are teeny! The stickers are puffy and really soft. I use a lot of stickers in my planner and these will fit right in. They’re tiny enough to use as nail stickers too! I think I might use some of these to decorate the cup I use to hold my pens on my desk. The adhesive felt really sturdy.

Harajuku Acrylic Pins

I assume there were variations of this pin because the information card wasn’t specific. I received a little pink donut! It’s a standard pink glazed donut with rainbow sprinkles.

The pin on the back is very stiff so I’m a little concerned about how long it will last. It feels like, if you add and remove this too much it may wear out the pin and snap. But I’m just adding this to the pins on my backpack and it’s been fine so far.

Morinaga Disney Chocolate & Strawberry Biscuits

I devoured these little snacks quickly! I’ve had snacks like this before and I really like the little cookie with milk chocolate and strawberry filling. The package I received was all milk chocolate. The added bonus of this package was definitely the Disney design. Each cookie featured a different Disney character. Previous boxes have included snacks that were new to me but I didn’t mind that I was familiar with these because they’re so tasty.

Pastel Macaron Travel Bag Tag

This yellow luggage tag has a trio of macarons on it! The luggage tag is a pliable rubber with plastic sealing the back where the paper with your information goes. I tugged on the tag and buckle which felt pretty sturdy! I trust that this can stay intact while traveling around. I finally bought a luggage tag for one of my suitcases last year and it’s nice to have instead of using disposable ones at the airport every time I go somewhere so I will use this!

Kawaii Mouth Sticky Notes

This little pack of sticky notes are in the shape of a frog. There are about 20 sheets included and the sticky part is on the bottom of the frog. These are definitely a cute option for little notes. The notes are attached to the blue cardboard and there’s a little hole at the top that you can poke out to insert this into a binder or notebook.

Neko Magnetic Bookmarks

I read a lot and use a planner for everything so I started using magnetic bookmarks within the past few months.  This trio is from a website called And Cabinet which is really addictive and full of cute things. These three bookmarks feature cats who seems to be daydreaming of fish. The magnetics are large and strong so I’ll definitely be adding these to my little collection.

Candy Gel Pen

When I first read that there was a gel pen I immediately thought of the colorful gel pens but this is a plain black ink. I was a little bummed about that but I was actually impressed with how fine the point is on the pen! The pen is a baby pink/orange with a fun charm on the end.

Kracie Popin’ Cookie’ Neri Candy Land DIY Kit

I had never tried a DIY kit before this month’s box but I have looked them up a lot before. They’re all so cute and funny so I was excited to see this. This kit came with colorful, edible pieces that felt like playdoh. The plastic bit has a few different shapes you can use to create yummy designs. It also came with a little stick and a package of sprinkles. There were a few visuals aids on the package but the great thing about the popularity of DIY kits is the variety of instructions you can find online. I watched a few videos of other people using this kit and then I made a few tiny creations. I basically cut off tiny pieces of candy and used the stick to roll it out over a mold. Then I cut off the excess and decorated! My cake, train, and lollipop were not the most beautiful creations but they were really fun to make. The texture and taste of this were just like sugary bubblegum. It’s a good thing the treats you make are so tiny because they are so sweet! This was a lot of fun to try out and it made me want to dive a little deeper into the DIY kit world.

Verdict: The Kawaii Box lives up to its name - everything is really cute! I enjoyed and have been using everything in this box which is always a positive for me. This box is $24.90 and included 11 items this month. If you break that down by item it’s about $2.25 an item. I think the majority of items would be less than $2.25 with the exception of the DIY Kit, Hello Kitty Purse, Luggage Tag, and Disney Biscuits. I would estimate that if you were to go item by item this might come in under the cost of the box. For me, the value of the box comes from the fact that they are items I’m not able to access easily and it is a fun mystery box of cute items. I can always use extra cuteness in my life and this month’s box included a nice mix of fun items and items I’ll actively use. I think if I purchased this kind of stuff in person I wouldn’t get as much value out of this box.

You should definitely add more pictures to these types of reviews. Especially for the DIY candy kits. It’s no fun that you didn’t share your creations!
