  1. My mystery box just arrived, and in it are:

2 polishes that were promised (blue and green)
    1 nail polish–Kristjana (a glittery eggplant color)
1 Your Lip Addiction tinted lip oil treatment–Obsessed (an orangey red)
    1 lip gloss–Admired (a purpley color)
1 When Pencil Met Gel eyeliner–Forest Green Shimmer

I also ordered the Bunny Pop surprise polish…and it is indeed a surprise, a very bold micro-glittery orange…not sure I can pull that off, but we’ll see!

Not a bad haul for $25.

    • i reeeeeally hope that i get a different nail polish. The free polish in my box last month was a purple stardust, and i already had two other different purpley stardust polishes I never use! oh well, maybe I can do some sort of ombre effect. As for the lip addiction and eyeliner, theyre both favorites, and having extra will be welcome!

    • I have Kristjana and I might have the Admired lip gloss (I think mine is a different color, though). Orange would not be my lip oil preference. There, I almost convinced myself to not feel bad about missing the box lol! I’d definitely use the new polishes and the green eyeliner, though, and I’m guessing I’d use the lip products too (love Julep’s lip stuff).

Oh well, I used the money I saved here and on Allure this month to buy a popsugar mystery box and a Pineapple Luxe mystery box. Let’s hope I love those even more!

    • My box is exactly the same as yours…same colors and everything. I’m honestly a little disappointed. Despite my modest collection of their polishes, Kristjana is a repeat for me. It’s a gorgeous color, but it seems really out of place in an Easter/Spring box. I think they would’ve done better with a light green or something else that would’ve worked as a base for the glitter polish…. I won’t use the lipgloss or the oil, so i’ll give those to my mom. I’m sure the value is there…it just felt a little underwhelming compared to past boxes. The two new polishes are very pretty though, and the liner is nice despite it also being a bit of a Fall color to me. 🙂

      • Got the same box, except lip oil was a tinted red. Love every single item in that box.

        • Me too! I have a lot of julep stuff….and still LOOOVVEEDD everything! Especially Kay that i got as an add on nd had been wantig FOREVER

  2. I am hoping they put Andi in the box, nothing is more Eastery than that color IMO.

I have a bottle I just picked up and have already put a dent in it… I will need another bottle by summer.

  3. I’m a sucker, I bought it too! I can’t wait to use that glitter top coat with Tatum (my favorite Julip polish) and I’m hoping that one of the items is an It’s Whipped in a fun spring color, all of the ones I have are pretty, but all deep and dark.

  4. Here’s my thinking. I have over 500 nail polishes (don’t judge me). It would take a really long time to see if I have colors like these. Time is money. So yeah, I bought the mystery box because that way I actually save money. See? addicts can always justify their addiction.

    • And, most likely you don’t technically have *these* Julep polishes, so they’ll be new polishes to your collection! 🙂

  5. The spring30 coupon works, but it doesn’t work on the Mystery Box. It works on any other regular/Maven priced items. Saved on my mattifying primer.

  6. Does anyone else feel like these were the two polishes that should have come out with this month’s collection? There were barely any new colors this month, but now we have these…

  7. ugh…I told myself no more mystery boxes! I just couldn’t help myself dammit! I added on the bunny something polish and the corrector with the spring30 code, took three bucks off.

  8. Maybe I just have too much Julep – my husband would say it’s not a maybe – but as much as I love these colors I can’t help but think I’m going to get them and find something in my collection already that’s 90% the same. Does that mean I won’t cave and buy this? Unfortunately no.

    • Yeah, I love that blue holo – but when I looked at the swatch closer up, it looks almost identical to Tali (which I love and already have two of). So I am resisting…. this time. aaagh.

  9. How are their mystery bags normally? And if they are listing $100+ for retail value, it is a pretty easy pass if you are already a Maven and up to your eyeballs in skincare/nail care. Hmm…

    • I love them! I usually get the 2 polishes listed and a lip product, eye product or a skin care item and more polish. Usually 6 or 7 items and a purse if the offer includes one. Can’t beat it for the price.

      • Thank you!

        • You’re welcome!

    • Im a maven and up to my eyeballs in products. When has that ever stopped any of us? 😎😣 ordered. But only bc i got the 30%.
I usually skip my boxes, and this is a decent alternative…you dont pick what you want but you get a lot more stuff for the same price as a monthly box…and since they dont do these every month, i dont feel like im overdoing it **target**
Idk why having 50 mini shampoo bottles sligtly annoys me, but 100 polishes is ok?? Maybe its the shape…if all my mini bottles where perfect easy to orgnize rectangles …🌏

      • I’m up to 30 polishes and that is too much for me! I just got the Julep organizer this past weekend and it is perfect for their products, but I understand the complaints on the website. I’ve only signed up for Maven in early January and I am swimming in their stuff. I love everything! Which also means I have back-ups for all the skincare now. It’s insane.

Ugh…I hadn’t ordered Target in a few months and I ordered 2 of the Naturals box and one of the other. I had $16 in gift cards so not a big deal, I guess.

I think My Subscription Addiction people need to do city meet ups like people on Jezebel sometimes do. I have so much product that I will not use and would love to trade or give away. I find the swap part to be too much work. 🙂 Like the movie Mr. Mom, but instead of coupons we just bet beauty products.

        • I am always thinking that it would be great to do live swaps! I don’t want to spend even more time or money mailing and matching products one by one. It would be great to meet at a coffee shop or something similar.

Liz, would this be possible through MSA? If not, do these live swap groups exist? I’ve tried searching online but never have found anything.

          • We organize these through the forum sometimes. Come on over! 🙂forum.mysubscriptionaddiction.com

          • I live in Dallas!

        • I feel like they must have made their deal for joining too good, haha. Lots of people are commenting that they already have so much polish and I think the 12 free ones might be responsible. It’s so easy to buy add-ons and secret store items, but when I wasn’t ordering all the extras, it actually did take a while to build up a stash.

          • Last year, during my first three months of being subscribed to Julep, I accumulated ~60 polishes from their monthly boxes, add-ons, secret store purchases, freebies, and mystery boxes!

    • The mystery boxes are a good deal, but I’m not a huge fan if I’m already a maven. There’s just not a broad enough variety of Julep products, so I don’t get to try new things. I received multiple When Pencil Met Gel eyeliners and Skip the Brush color sticks, for example. Those are good products, but I’m not sure I want another one in a random color. Mystery bags aren’t set up so you’ll necessarily get the most wearable colors, which might be a plus or minus. I got a bright gold eyeliner in my last box and told myself to buy colors I’d actually wear instead.

Judging by the two nail polish spoiler, I’d guess it will be a polish-heavy box. It seems like they show makeup spoilers otherwise.

  10. FWIW – Spring30 DOES work, but you have to have regular priced items in your cart and it will only deduct the 30% from the full priced items, not your entire order.

  11. I will order if there is any type of coupon code that works

  12. Tried using that coupon code. Says it is “not valid”. 🙁

  13. Yes with the coupon thats worth it to me. And i am loving the 2 polishes. #sold

  14. Very tempting, especially since the 30% off works with this and brings it down to $17.49.

    • The 30% isn’t working for me…and it said in the card the code came on that it wasn’t valid in mystery boxes…if it’s working for you, I would jump on it before they fix it!
