That brings the cost down to $14.70 a box for a three-month subscription, or $13.90 a box for a six-month subscription. (GlossyBox is regularly $21 a month)

  1. I signed up with this deal this morning. My account has been charged and I even filled out my beauty profile. Now when I go to log back in tells me there is no account showing with my email address. Like i never signed up. I called them and the message said I was in line on the que and they would call me back. I called back 2 hours later and got that they are closed and should try back. REALLY frustrating!!! If it doesn’t show that I have an account I can’t imagine I will be receiving a box, but they sure have taken my money. really wish this could be rectified! I also emailed them but have’t received a response.

  2. I’m still waiting for my March box! And I can’t get anybody from Glossy Box to get back to me 🙁 Is it always like this?

    • Yes. I cancelled after at least 4 years with them over repeated poor customer service. Not only that, but when I was actually able to get them to reply, they were never helpful, rude, and the most unaccomidating company I have ever used.

  4. I subbed for March, April, and May, a 3-month deal at 25% off. Do I need to cancel by May 15 to avoid being charged for and receiving the June box (at the regular price)?

    • Yes, you’ll need to cancel before May 15 to avoid getting charged. You can also cancel now, just to be safe, and before you forget ( 🙂 )… you’ll still receive all of the boxes owed to you. All you’re doing when you cancel, is cancelling the renewal of your subscription. You’re not cancelling the boxes you prepaid for.

  5. I subscribed with a 50% off code last month for the March box, and immediately cancelled afterward. I found out yesterday that I was charged $21 for the April box! How can they do this when my subscription was clearly cancelled a month ago? Has this happened to anyone else?

    • You would have to cancel by the 15th of March to not get charged for the April box. It’s in their terms of service:

      “The Monthly plan cancellation request via your account page will take effect only if submitted prior to the 15th of the month that your existing subscription plan is due to renew. (e.g. you must cancel by February 14th if you want to cancel your March charge/box). Cancelling a subscription will not cancel and refund the delivery orders that have been paid for, it only stops future renewal charges. If you choose to subscribe to the Monthly Plan between the 15th to the end of the month, you automatically agree to following month’s charge.”

      I believe the 50% off coupon came out after the 15th, so everyone who used that coupon would also be getting the April box.

    • Glossybox requires you to cancel by something like the 20th or 21st in order to not get the following month’s box. They always run those sales at the end of the month after the cutoff date so they can lock new subscribers in for the next month.

    • Yes.. my one account, I cancelled in January, and then was charged for February and March! They made me pay for an extra 2 months…

    • I had enough difficulty with a non-renewal, that I remind myself when these specials come up not to deal with them again!

      I had a three-month sub, and cancelled before the 15th of the month so that it wouldn’t renew. Unfortunately this meant that they didn’t send the last of the prepaid subscription. Maybe they’ve changed this by now, and still send out the last box.

      At least CS agreed to refund me for the unsent boxes, so I came out even, but I couldn’t get my head around it. If you made the cutoff by the 15th, then they wouldn’t send a last prepaid box? Now I understand! Either you don’t get the last of the sub (unless it’s been changed) and have to call them for a refund, or, you’re still being signed up for a renewal.
      Do they really need to strongarm people into maintaining their subs, even just for a month, to be making a profit?
      My preferred model for a subscription is for it to lapse, unless the company is notified that you want it to renew.

      • Hi! Yes I received the March box pretty quickly – I want to say about 10 days after I paid. Now I am waiting for the April box (that I don’t want).

    • Yuuuup. Terrible customer service & most unapologetic company! However, some of the boxes were awesome and introduced me to some great products.

  6. OOOOPSY, silly me. I jumped on this offer first thing today to get 25% off. I cancelled the subscription I had. So I’ll get May’s with that one. Re-subbing with the offer got me another April box and May box…What was I thinking?? I shouldn’t make decisions first thing in the morn…! My original subscription started in March. Have not gotten March or April yet…I’ll be on box overload for awhile.

  7. Glossybox was my very first subscription ever. Then with all the drama and disappointments, I decided it’s best to just not engage no matter how cheap the cost gets.
    I like the smoothness and timeliness of delivery. Most other subs can do that, why can’t glossybox

    • Same. I’m tempted sometimes, but I don’t trust their customer service enough to rejoin.

      • That’s me!! I’m tempted but they were sooooo nasty to me in the past that I’m scared now!

  8. I can’t tell if Glossybox is pivoting to be a $15/month box now or if they are just not doing well. They ran the same promo the last month or two as well. And this month they included mystery haircare products.

  9. I jumped on this! I’ve been paying full price the last two months, I was hoping a deal would appear with the Holiday. I can handle $13.88 a month. My original deal was $15.00 a box. I’m very happy , thank you MSA and Glossybox!!

  10. I’d love to take advantage of this deal, but Glossybox is notorious for false advertising. The “bait and switch” they pull with sizes of products, number of products, etc. Not to mention, they also have questionable customer service. Not worth the headache for me. I miss the actualboxes though, I still use them to organize all my sub box beauty items by type… super helpful.

    • I’ll take questionable customer service…right now glossybox is giving me nonexistent customer service! I was missing an item in my March box, and I’m going on a week and half without a response (but did get the confirmation that they received my email).

      • Did you try sending them a direct message on Instagram? I got helped the same exact day with a solution email sent the next morning. ☺️

        • Not on instagram, but I did on Facebook and it looks like they bumped me to the bottom of the queue again. Received the standard “received” email and that I’ll get a response within 5 days. Except that it’s been closer to 10 already. UGH!!

      • Same here. I got my first Glossybox (March) about 2 weeks ago & the eyeshadow palette was broken/ crumbled and dark powder was all over the box/ other items. I contacted them through their website and Facebook, but they still haven’t responded.

        • I’m not sure what they are thinking. If the point is to have subscribers – this is not a way to keep them! How hard would it be to just send out items they were supposed to send anyway!?!

  11. Is the Babor a bonus item? Definitely didn’t get that in my box.

    • I didn’t either. And that tube does not appear to be the VasantI cleanser. When I resubbed in march for this 25% off deal, I ended up with 2 March boxes. The first one under my cancelled sub had tarte sunscreen and the second had tarte bb. So I think they change the boxes through the month. I was happier with the second, love the bb. April didn’t do much for me.

      • Ah, that makes more sense. I got the box last month with the BB creme (unfortunately doesn’t work for my skintone) and was wondering why it was different than all the reveals.

      • Michelle, do you happen to want to trade the sunscreen for my BB? The BB (I have not opened it) is too dark for me; I’m very pale.

  12. I’m actually a bit upset with Glossybox. I signed up for a deal where the first 3 boxes are $15.99, and my box has been stuck on payment since February!!! I have another account and everything’s fine with that one.
