Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda Free Deoderant Cream, Lavender - 2.4 oz., Value $14

I didn’t realize some people are sensitive to baking soda until discovering this deodorant, which is baking soda-free. This cream uses dietary magnesium and arrowroot powder, plus plant oils and butters, and essential oils all to control odor, moisture, hydrate, and keep you smelling fresh. Fortunately, I really don’t have any big issues with sweating or body odor so I can say I’m satisfied with this deodorant, but I really can’t speak to how effective it may or may not be on those who need some more heavy duty deodorant help. This stuff smells great, though!

Since I’m not sensitive to baking soda, I’m definitely interested in trying Meow Meow Tweet’s normal deodorant formula which also comes in a stick form – which I would really prefer over a glass jar.

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lash Extending Primer - 0.28 oz., Value $24

This is one of my favorite discoveries in this whole box! In a world obsessed with those fiber lash primers (which I just can’t bring myself to like), my mother has always used a creamy primer with no fibers for years, and I have to say I’m now 100% jumping on board. This primer is great! I love that it’s white so I feel like I can see it extending my lashes, but it dries clear and works as a conditioner for your lashes too. You can even wear it at night as a lash conditioner!

I don’t think this will give as drastic a before/after result as fibers can, but it’s so comfortable and I did feel like it added a little more volume and some length to my lashes – all without the discomfort or spidery-ness I get from fiber mascaras.

Jersey Shore Cosmetics My Lash Secret Black Carbon Steel Eyelash Curler - Value $30

(FYI – the info card says $25 retail value but Jersey Shore Cosmetics’ site sells it for $30, so I used that value instead.)

This is my other favorite discovery in this month’s box! I always use an eyelash curler, and I’ve been using a Tarte one for like, the last two years. I think I had forgotten that eyelash curlers can work and feel differently because I really think this one has become a holy grail beauty product for me. I don’t even know what’s different about the design but it is so much more comfortable and way more effective than any other curler I’ve used before.

I love the simple black design that feels solid and comfortable in my hand, and they included a replacement cushion as well. I have to say I’m really glad to get this in a box because I wouldn’t have just gone and spent $25-30 on an eyelash curler on my own, but this is so worth it.

This was actually a recent Ipsy reward (went super fast, though!) right after I got my Benevolent Beauty Box and I totally grabbed a second one. Love!

Au Naturale Eye Liner Pencil in “Amethyst” – Listed Value $18

I think these eyeliner pencils must be being replaced in Au Naturale’s line with these essential eye pencils or something because the link to their eyeliners comes up with a “product not found” page.

Anyways, this pencil is a pretty purple color. The formula is definitely creamy! It’s not intensely pigmented, though, so it comes off subtle and you could probably also use it easily as an eye shadow. (swatch below)

Au Naturale Crème Eye Shadow in Bliss – Listed Value $20

Again, I think Au Natural must be replacing these cream shadow pots with these crème shadow sticks, so just FYI (which I’m all for – all the products in convenient stick forms forever, please).

I wasn’t super impressed with this shadow formula. The pink is a pretty color but not one I’ll really wear, and this was also more subtly pigmented than I generally expect from a cream shadow. I will say that the subtle color makes it more easily wearable/blendable, though. (swatched below)

Here are the eyeliner and the cream shadow swatched.

Here, I’m wearing the eyeliner, eyeshadow, lash primer, and I used the lash curler. I’m loving the way the two lash products give my lashes a nice boost!

Here’s a better look at the cream shadow and eyeliner. I’m wearing the cream shadow as a base, and I blended some neutral shadow shades into my crease and outer corner of my lids. Like I’ve said, both the shadow and the liner are rather subtle in pigmentation so they blend and wear easily.

Verdict: As always, I had a lot of fun with this month’s Benevolent Beauty Box! I always enjoy finding some great new discoveries, which has happened with every box for me so far. For the value, everything adds up to $106, which I’m thrilled to say is what I’ve come to expect from this subscription (I have come to expect between $90-$100 in value each month).
